"I thought Carrick played well today. Kept his position well"
Are you messing about? Fletch, Saha and Sheasy came on and he wasn't starting, unless you're mistaking him for Hargo?

Eagles was shite, Evra's been my man of the season so far. Awesome again today.
Tevez looked like more of a threat behind a proper striker second half, hopefully Louis will be fit enough to start against Everton.

The banter is quality, as you know. We had a reply for everything. The usual "shall we sing a song for you?" came from their end, so we sung back, "shall we feed a mouth for you?" in response to their pikey-loving chants as well. It still pissed me off (the Liverpool chants), so they actually done a good job on that note, the filthy Mackems. Great thing about football, real shame though that 0T does get alot of day trippers who dont seem to know how to get behind Utd.

the fans get behnd united for the big matches, against tems we're expected to beat the crowd are expecting the team to perform instead of the fans getting behind them. i can't really comment on the match yet as i listened to it on the radio, but from what i heard the first half sounded rather scrappy. second half when we brought louis on we sounded more fluelike our old selves, like the way we normally set up. owen sounded like he had a good game again, nderson sounded promising and chris sounded as if he were in the game, but i can only say what i heard.
still it caonly get better with louis near fit, ronny back from suspension and wazza getting back to full fitness

I said after we beat Spurs that I'd rather take a bad performance and a win, than a good performance and a loss or draw. Although that's still the case, I was disappointed with the team today.
Evra was brilliant for most parts and Nani did very well, I was impressed with Saha when he came on. I don't really have anything massively positive to say about anyone else, a few players (Brown and Hargreaves spring to mind) seemed to struggle to pass to someone on their own team. Our midfield looked average, at best, Eagles did alrite though compared to some of the more experienced players.
Be nice to get Ronaldo back in the team, be even better to get Rooney back as well.
Carrick should be pissed off today, because I doubt it any of our other midfielders are going to be dropped for bad performances. And being told you're going on to then put O'shea on instead? No wonder he wasn't happy. People can say a lot of things about Carrick, but he passes a lot better than what Hargreaves was doing for much of the match today.
Generally we looked like we were half asleep and was a newly put together Sunday league team where five players would cover and run after the same oposition player when they got the ball.
Not good enough. But at least we got the three points. Can only get better.
