i like Eagles but i think he wasn't good today i think Fletcher would have been better man of the match Evrà without doubt..but how come Giggsy was in the stands today? Picked up a slight injury in training.

Pretty much a repeat of last week, only with more possession and a few more chances.

Generally we looked like we were half asleep and was a newly put together Sunday league team where five players would cover and run after the same oposition player when they got the ball. I think a more gradual introduction would've been better for the younger lads, rather than putting all of Eagles, Nani, Anderson and Tevez all starting

Hargreaves passing badly? From what I saw, he spread the ball nicely (may have lost it once or twice, but no more). Carrick should be pissed, as that's the attitude I expect, but he should (and does) respect Fergie's decision.
Eagles played alright, just isn't experience. Brown is playing very well. Rio and Vidic obviously doing what we expect them to and Evra being immense. He's younger and better than Heinze and I'm glad he's proving that.
"I said after we beat Spurs that I'd rather take a bad performance and a win, than a good performance and a loss or draw. Although that's still the case, I was disappointed with the team today."
I'd take a win over anything, bad performance or good.

I think a more gradual introduction would've been better for the younger lads, rather than putting all of Eagles, Nani, Anderson and Tevez all starting I do sort of agree with you there yeah, I think that it is something that needs to be gradually, and if need be player by player. In signing both Anderson and Nani, that's something I was a bit worried about... whether both of them would just be chucked in. It wasn't just the new signings (Except Nani who played very well) that looked like newcomers today though. I'd take a win over anything, bad performance or good. Hargreaves lost the ball several times, not once or twice. At one point I actually counted him losing it three times in as many minutes. Although not as much losing it as actually passing it to the legs of an oposition player. He was nowhere near as bad as Brown though, who should have been taken off today, not Nani. And I never said I want a good performance more than a win, I said I was disappointed in the team today, and I think anyone who wasn't disappointed must have very low expectations of our team. Wes did not played well today, Rio and Vidic thankfully didn't have much to do because they were still looking dodgy, as did they against Spurs. Evra was probably our best player today, Nani a close second. But giving our other defenders much credit would be a bit of a joke, Sunderland were just even more rubbish than we did and gave them little to do.

Picked up a slight injury in training. what do u think about Anderson? His performance? One good pass on for Tevez' shot. Don't think he'll fit in as easy as Nani seems to be doing, would rather he was getting used to playing in England with the reserves or on loan than with our first team in must win matches.

Hargreaves movement got me more than his passing, he either sits back after giving the ball to Scholes, or runs behind other players so there's no pass available, that stopped United from dictating the game up the pitch and gave them very little room to operate bar passing to the back four.
Carrick moves up and down in accordance with Scholes after passing, so they can move across the pitch and move up if you get me, that's something that will hopefully develop between Hargo and Scholes.
Carrick is a better passer than Hargreaves, not worth complaining about that much though, as Hargreaves is mainly on the ball after winning it back, which can be claimed that Carrick doesn't do as well as Hargreaves!
Different options people, different options! Glad to have them both. Felt sorry for Carrick though, after being told to sit down with O'Shea coming on instead

Like when some kids nick summat of one of the nerdy kids in school and they throw it about and he runs after it. Or a dog chasing its tail. That's how I felt he played today, bit... aimlessly. I just pulled up the passing because a lot of people said we'd not miss Carrick's passing. Which we did today.

I thought Brown did his job. Remember, he isn't a right back. He got forward a lot and added options on attack and did his part on the little defending he needed to do. Rio and Vidic didn't do anything special, but they did their part. Evra was man of the match, although Saha got it, which shocked me (even though he played well and got the goal).
And subbing Brown off would've been a poor choice.

Yeh, what got me more though was when he gave it to Scholesy a few times, then just stood there for a few secs and waited for him to do something, or ran around as you said, anyway, you'd hope that'll come with time. Although Hargreaves has done that all his career, especially for England, even when he came here he said, 'My job is to give it to the talented lads and let them do the rest...' you have much to learn my young Hargo!

Not been to many matches? The away fans are allways louder than the home support! 2002 and beyond...shouldnt be saying much...before u never heard the away fans...

Was gutted about our support today. Letting them out sing us with YNWA! yeah, that just really got to me. Put down your prawn sandwich and sing when the opposition sings the song of your biggest rivals to take the piss for crying out loud! I also heard the away support singing "shall we sing a song for you" which I was hoping would get a reaction from the quiet United supporters there. ------------------------------------------------------- Eagles was shite, Evra's been my man of the season so far. Awesome again today. Tevez looked like more of a threat behind a proper striker second half, hopefully Louis will be fit enough to start against Everton. Evra just kept pushing forward, it was great to see. I hope this wasn't the last time we'll see Saha and he'll be starting for the next match.

According to the stats, Hargreaves attempted 78 passes yesterday and achieved 94%. He was the most successful passer of the ball for Utd. Make of that what you will.
