Sir Alex Ferguson has said he wants us to create MUCH MORE noise at old trafford and seen as he is god we should all respond to that and sing our hearts out. I don't mind you taking a few pics now and then, just as long as you sing your heart out for united!!! oh trust me if i am not one of the most loudest persons to be at a stadium then i deserve to die. i think we should blame other "fans" out there who go to watch united but not create the atmosphere. i want to be there and sing my heart out!

Saying i love less united cos im taking pics its stupid and childish, you must learn to know people before judge them babe Im very passionate and im sure you know that if u know me better.

I thought u was saying its ok to take pics through the whole game without singing so thats why i got so angry. I'm sorry but it just really winds me up when teams like sunderland out sing us on our home ground. It hurts me too, coz i love United so much, i dont like hearing other teams singing "ur support is foo*** s***!!!". Old trafford should be the loudest ground in the league!!!!

I will take my pics but i won't spend 90 mins doing that i wanna live United i wanna sing be part of it as everyone else not only taking pictures! Im sorry i probaly spell wrong what i said!

The support is so fragmented, it's like 1 in 10 people who actually sing away from the Stretty. A few lads start to sing for a few seconds, they expect those around to join in, they don't so it goes quiet again. Still, it's no surprise, we've lost so many hardcore fans to FCUM and watching it in the pub because the club doesn't give a shit about the real fans.
I swear I'm gonna get mental one day when I have to stand up for another fan to walk past 10 minutes before half or full time. Cunts. I have never in my life left a football game before the final whistle. The glory hunters are easy to spot, they always have a megastore bag full of numerous overpriced shite, they wear about 3 coats because it's Manchester and it "always rains", they record the whole game on their phone (watch it on fucking TV then).

It's embarrassing to be honest, i sit in the south stand because my uncle was the one who got me and my brother season tickets years and years ago when we were young because he preferred that stand because of the view (he's not missed a Utd game home/away or even a friendly for about 20 years) I would much rather sit in the Stret end or East stand just because of the atmosphere, you see and hear the Stret end singing all the match but around you in the south stand everyone just sits there doing fuck all with the occasional song sung by a few people. Also when "stand up for the champions is sung" most of the ground stands up and sings me and my brother do but half the people around us don’t and only do when the people in front of them block their view, some just sit there even when they can't see, its like their making a point saying im not standing up just cos everyone else it. It's embarrassing especially when 2000 away fans outsing the home fans and take the piss because of these fans who do nothing. What also annoys me is the people who have a season ticket etc just because of their husband or partner (or wife in some small circumstances i would guess) for example there is a woman who sits in front of me (wasn’t there 2 seasons ago) She knows nothing about football or Utd (I’ve heard her talking to him) she always looks like she is board and wants to go home, never sings, never claps, does nothing but drink coffee that she makes him get halfway through the game. What is the point of her coming? It's probably just so she can keep a check on him or just in spite so she doesn’t have to stay at home while he gets to go out.

Money is all important whilst the club are in debt, ticket revenue is important to recovering from that and to be honest, there was a good atmostphere at OT most of last season and despite minority's singing, this was the first game in a while there's been away fans outsinging ours thats been so evident over the radio/tv. But United fans do that every week away from home, is it really that suprising that it's happened once?
Great atmosphere for the Spurs game, why was that? Did we have an extra few thousand got lucky with tickets who all sing coming on the same day, yet they all missed out on the Sunderland game? I really doubt that.
It's easy to pass the buck and point the finger, but you do have to remember how big the stadium is and how important it is to sell out week-in week-out. Look at the emirates, it could be worse! Much bloody worse.

Against Spurs the atmosphere was hit and miss, at times it was good but also at times the Spurs fans out sung the home fans again, it wasn’t really until Rio cleared the ball off the line that the fans really got into it and behind the team.

in germany at borrusia dortmund at each home bundesliga home game and only a bundesliga home game at the loudest part of the stadium, the equivalent of the stretford end, also a two tier stand, they rip out the seats on the second tier and allow standing this garners an incredible atmosphere at each game.
now i read in a paper a few weeks ago that they were looking to bring standing on one stand back into the premier league but to keep it as safe as possible. at OT they could do this and charge a fiver, you'd get more hardcore united fans in, there'd be a better atmoshere, there'd be a slightly bigger attendance and wouldn't isolate the die hard fans who cannot afford to go. in my opinion i think this is a fabulous idea to bring into the game what do you all think??

BRING BACK THE TERRACES. It's all Liverpool's fault for being gobshites.

BRING BACK THE TERRACES. It's all Liverpool's fault for being gobshites. The irony is that back in the olden times, Liverpool made the standing terraces famous via the Spion Kop stand, and the way it moved as one creature, and now because of a creature over on alcohol it caused the terraces to be eliminated

They should introduce safe standing in this country, it would benifit old traffords atsmophere sooooo much!!! But even if you are sat in your seat youcan still sing your heart out for United!!! Something has got to be done about old trafford's atsmophere, there are sites set up like www.stretfordendflags.com which raises money for things such as super flags and tifo flags, and incourages united fans to bring scarfs and flags to matches with them. It's well worth donating maybe just £5 to the super flag appeal. We've already raised 94% of what is needed to have a super on the stretford end. A super flag would get fans up for the game and improve the atsomphere in my opinion
