This is the Stret End! The famous Stret End! For those with red blood! Inside their veins! Fuck off you tourists! And Gloryhunters! Til only United, supporters, remain!
To the tune 'You Are My Sunshine'.

It's obvious why this chant is being sung nowadays and it's been sung by a select few for a while. I don't need to explain, as the chant itself explains all. If more people start singing, then we'll get the message across, although it won't do much, it's defo worth the shot.

No opinions on the situation or the chant itself? It's what all us Reds feel like. The proepr ones, anyway.

If you sing and create noise, then it's far better than sitting down, doing sweet FA. If you love United, not false love, but true love, then we have no problems. Remember, a lot of proper supporters can't go, due to financial reasons, health reasons, or just can't get a ticket. My granddad's too old to go, for example.
Just getting the message across (the chant), that's all.

I love United and when we played agaist Milan 3 yrs ago i was sat next Milan fans( i wanted so much to be with United fans) singing and supporting my team, that was the first time i saw United playing live but i know OT would be different!! By the way i love the chant

Loved it. If only there was about 30-40 noisy fans in each other end of the ground to get the crowd in a frenzy and banish the prawn-sandwich munchers

That's all it takes, normally. I'm a Stretford Ender, so there's noise everywhere in our west stand, but I remember when I did a one-off trade for my Stretford End seat for a south stand one, just because my mate has never been sat there. This was when Arsenal came up last year and they beat us, but what annoyed me was that some man behind me actually used physical contact to sit me down. I know you have to sit down there but I couldn't help it and after a few moans from him, he held my shoulder. But when I sung, others began to sing around me, but it was still pathetic. Like you said, a big group in each block would work out so much better, cause others get more confidence to sing. Instead we have pockets of support. Rant over...

stretford end tier 2 is always decent but thats compared to the rest of the ground, really even the stretford end should be ALOT louder than it is, if your not gona sing why go in the stretford end, i think alot of people sit their just so they can tell their freinds they sat in the stretford end..wankers!....love the song tho.
