Rooney scoring last week will be a huge boost for him, and might not look so frustrated out on the field, which will help him keep a cool head lol.....he should perform well, and against a team like wigan should be able to put one in the back of the net.
Anderson should get a crack sometime in this game, good oppurtuinty for the lad to get some experience, and show some of us what he can do, because he hasn't so far =|
1-0, 2-0, 3-0, it doesn't matter, as long as we win, and dont concede any.

3-0 To United me thinks. Rooney will hopefully still be spurred by that Champions league goal , I'm hoping Anderson gets some quality playing time, Giggs in for Carricks place nani on the left; let's get some goals in and keep another clean sheet .. United top of the league !
COM'ON UNITED !!

Well, the team today is
Kuczszak, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Pique, Ronaldo, Scholes, O'Shea, Giggs, Rooney, Tevez Heaton, Simpson, Anderson, Nani, & Saha are on the bench.
Seems a bit defensive to me; I would liked to have seen Nani or Anderson starting. However, I'm sure they will come on at some stage.

Brilliant result and feels really good to be winning again. The scary thing is that theres soo much more potential in this team and Im hoping that this is just the start of the goals.
Man of the Match: No one really put in a bad display but Anderson stood out for me. Not many people thought he would be able to play with Scholes cuz there both attacking players but he was brilliant today and showed that he can handle the physical side of the game and made some pretty good tackles as well.

Anderson, Pique, and Simpson all looked really good today. Shame about the injuries but if they play like that every time we should be fine.
Great to see us scoring.

im optimistic so i say 3-0 come on its Wigan!!! The same could have been said of Sunderland and Birmingham who we should have beaten by more than one goal. Under estimate teams at your own peril.... what i told ya yesterday? 3-0 we won 4-0

My man of the match was Anderson, he was fantastic today at a time when we were suffering a lot with injuries and needed to be disciplined as our midfield was full of attacking styled players. He broke up a lot of play, made a lot of tackles and attacked well too setting Tevez on his way for his goal. Fantastic today.
The first half I think were just a bit rusty from midweek and had to keep reshuffling due to those bastard injuries but the second half was satisfactory. We scored four goals, kept a clean sheet but still you feel we can go up a gear or two which is exciting.
Rooney's on a run now, Tevez got his second and Ronaldo his fourth. Hopefully Saha is alright because we've got four players who can get atleast fifteen goals each this season - although you'd expect Rooney and Ronaldo to hit the 20 mark again.
Fantastic result though given it was an early kick off following a midweek fixture, suffered a lot with injuries and Kuszczak (when tested), Piqué and Simpson were very impressive.

Great to see Anderson and Tevez play so well. Tevez's workrate for the team is fantastic. And delighted for Danny Simpson too! Good stuff to take into the International break.
