Time to rest Giggs and Scholes and start with Nani and Anderson and Pique. If things are not going well then Scholes can get on the pitch and make things happen. What is the diagnosis on Brown? Not too bothered as Oshea can play there and Pique can come in for Carrick. But whatever happens lets win above all else.

I don't think we'll get much trouble from Wigan, and I hope that this will be the match we get two or three goals from open play but my gut tells me 1-0 to United.

I hope Nani keeps his place in the starting eleven, I thought he was really good against Roma, and what with Giggs playing poorly at the moment as well. Tevez and Rooney should start I think. Not sure who will play with Scholes in centre-midfield. Maybe O'Shea or Anderson? Or I would quite like to see Rooney playing attacking midfield with Saha and Tevez up front with Scholesy in his usual position. That would hopefully mean goals!

We have to show our true selves this weekend.
If it ends up another 1-0, I'll be very disappointed. Especially considering it's at OT.

Possibel team for me is....
Kuszack O'Shea/Brown Rio Vidic Evra Ronaldo Scholes O'shea/anderson/Giggs Nani/Giggs Rooney Tevez/Saha
Got a feeling Pique or Eagles could also get a start.
Im going to the game and I have a bad feeling. I have been to 2 games this season and both had a poor atmosphere. Against Spurs it picked up after Nani scored for about 10-15 mins but thats it. Is it me or does the crowd only get lively for the big teams. Im in east stand tier 2 and I just can't be arsed to sit there amongst silent fans. I know its gonna be quiet just because its Wigan. Annoying!! On the plus side, this will be the 3rd time I have seen United against Wigan since Wigan came up. 4-0 in the league and 4-0 in the Carling cup final so hopefully we will have a goal feast!!

We HAVE TO win this game...I work in Wigan and there are 4 Latics season ticket holders in my office. If, God forbid, we lost I would have to take a week off Having said that, none of them expect to get anything on Saturday. Wigan haven't taken a point of any of the big 4 (Utd, Arse, Chutski, Dippers) since they came up!

i am worried about the center mid feild but I would expect a couple goals some of the lads wanting to shut up the doubters.

just came across the following stats on bbc sport
Wigan Lost eight of their last nine league fixtures against fellow north-west opposition, including the last four
United Scored at least three goals in each of their last five home league games against north-west opposition and four in each of the last two (v Bolton and Blackburn).
The only club yet to concede at home in the Premier League.
Prediction:2-0 to united Rooney and Ronaldo with the goals acracker from rooney and a penalty from ronaldo
