vs UEFA Champions League Group Stage Stadio Olimpico, Rome Wednesday 12th December KO: 7:45 Expected team: PIG
Simpson - Pique - Evans - O Shea
Eagles - Fletcher - Carrick - Nani
Anderson
Saha Prediction: 0-1 Maybe wishful thinking, seeing Roma are seeking revenge and with us playing the youngsters and all, but I think we can hold on and maybe sneak one in !

I think we'll just loose out on this one although I hope to be proved wrong.

I think O'shea in Evra's place is more logical.. don't u think ? Yeah I agree, couldn't think of anyone else to be honest at the moment. Forgot O Shea played in every position !

What chances do you think there is SAF will start with Dong? I reckon Dong's an almost cert to start to be honest. And probably up with Saha.

I dont believe we would get carried away because of that 7-1 and throw everything in this game.Probably we would play lots of reserves, though game is coming up next sunday against Parma where we normaly struggle a lot. 2-0 Roma,1 each-on and off the pitch

How has Dong been doing in the reserves? Maybe he has improved.

Anderson isn't in the squad according to the official site.
Am looking forward to seeing Brandy, Hewson and Eckersley if they get on, didn't think there would be that many kids there, but should be interesting to watch
Don't think we'll be beaten that bad, if at all. 2-1 at most, more importantly hope there's no crowd trouble

Italian police would like United fans to note details of their escort to Roma's Olympic Stadium on Wednesday night (12 December).
A police spokesman told us: "The local police HQ in Rome is going to arrange an escort for United supporters moving to the stadium on the day of the match.
"The United supporters should assemble in Piazzale delle Canestre (Canestre Square), close to Villa Borghese park. The escort will start at 4.30pm."
Earlier this month the British Embassy in Rome compiled some general information on stadium facilities, public transport and personal safety.
Phil Townsend, United's communications director, said: "We always give our fans information on travelling to watch the team abroad.
"Rome is a fantastic city and we're keen our fans enjoy their visit as much as possible."
The supporters' information can be read or printed as a pdf document on ManUtd.com.
