I blame Kearnsey. Get him tethered and led out of the village. Or even led out of the village and tethered. Brain is scattered- man flu. Sorry for having a calm and collected view on things rather than a view that is in the heat of the moment and one that is quite frankly a load of bollocks fickle is what it is...fickle its the same old shit its people like you that will eventually drive fergie outta old trafford through the backdoor

And yet we scorn supporters like newcastle for getting on there players back? Cynical...hypocritical....and quite frankly ridiculous what some of you do to players like fletcher In search of a valid reason for winning a game we did not deserve to win you take a scapegoat and the best manager britain has ever seen. Fergie has a certain amount of blame to take, which im sure he will. His team selection wasn't wrong, as such, it just didn't work as planned. Fletcher is one player, and he does not deserve to be blamed for a game which was not his fault. ronaldo 18 goals in 18 games.....misses a penalty...bread and butter for him, why dont we blame him?? Ryan Giggs, for 15 years has been a constantly class player, but what has he done this season? What has he done i nthe last 4 years baring last season infact? He does not score enough goals and we seem to use his 'experience' as an excuse as well as his decoration to pick ihm week after week. Why shant we blame him?? Im not saying we should or will But fletcher does not deserve it so stop looking for a scapegoat and move on from the defeat and lets go on a run that we know we can Fletcher was marking both goalscorers on both goals and missed the headers. Therefore he lost us the game Why does he not deserve criticism?

WHY ??!?!? I could feel that as soon as the penalty went the wrong side of the post, we were in trouble for the last 15 or so minutes.

But, did you actually see the game? Honestly, Fletcher was awful. I'm not blaming him for us losing, but the truth is he was shite. Today. I'm not saying he's a shite player full stop. But today he was. And unless Anderson was also suffering from this virus in the camp, which is unlikely as he came on, then there was no justification in Fletcher starting ahead of him. None. Same with Hargreaves coming off instead of Fletcher. Thats why I think people are pissed off.

i think owen did just marginally better than fletcher.. if i gave 4 for fletcher's form, than i'll give 5 for owen and everybody else.. only the defenders did better, maybe 6. because we lost both goals from setpieces, and on both goals, the culprit was, well...

Boss: The better team won Sir Alex Ferguson was magnanimous in defeat as United slipped to a dramatic 2-1 reverse at West Ham, conceding that the Hammers had been clearly the better side.
After only a third league defeat of the season, however, the United manager admits his side need to embark on a long winning run as the season enters a nitty-gritty stage.
"We didn't play well, particularly in the first half," Sir Alex told MUTV. "They were very aggressive, tackled everywhere and we never got our game going.
"I don't think we deserved to be in front to be honest with you. They were the better team, they had two or three attempts, hit the bar, had a few efforts scrambled away from our penalty area and really we just didn't perform.
"I still couldn't see us losing, but losing two goals from set pieces tells you everything. If you're losing goals at set-pieces then there's something wrong, your performance isn't at the top level. You can't afford to do that."
While at a loss to explain United's below-par display at Upton Park, Sir Alex - who served the first of a two-match touchline ban - is all too aware of the need to avoid such slips going into the second half of the season.
"Sometimes you have to say that, from time to time, human beings are going to have a bad performance," he said. "I can't pick out a player who played well for us today, and that tells the story. "It's a rare disappointment, we don't usually get as bad a performance as that. I think we need to go on a long run now because you're coming to the crucial part of the season. In many ways the season starts on January 1st.
"The run-in involves the Champions League and FA Cup, it's a congested fixture list and you have to have the squad and you have to have players performing properly."

We were outplayed, simple as that. West Ham had a game plan and stuck to that even when they went a goal down. That was easily our most uninspirational performance of the year. No slick attacking. We sat back the whole game and just tried to absorb the pressure even tho West Ham did have some solid chances. Against Liverpool we did a wonderful job defending but today West Ham constantly had great scoring chances. Fletcher and Hargreaves should never play together again. That is our worst center mid combination. Fletcher is the shittier version of Hargreaves. Why would you have him out there if Hargreaves is out there? Especially with a rested Anderson on the bench? Fergie fucked up big time on that one. There was no creativity in that midfield today. Giggs tried a few times but couldnt do much... neither could Ronaldo.

I'm sorry but firstly Fletcher was one of the better players on the pitch today. Hargreaves was fucking shite (what happened to protecting the back four?), Anderson should've been playing from the start. Fletch always puts in 100% effort into games, unlike some players such as Saha who had an awful game today, and put no effort in at all. And people are always criticising Giggs at Old Trafford and away games, but he played the perfect ball for our goal today and set up a great chance for Nani, so lay off him.
But I blame the management more than the players. Ridiculous decision to leave out Anderson, who really is playing well at the moment. Also, the tactics were fucking stupid. The idea was to nick a goal, and then put Tevez on the left wing and play 4-5-1 with Saha up on his own. That just meant we were sitting back really deep, and invited West Ham onto us. We should've kept with 4-4-2 and attacked West Ham.

Oh yeah, why was Tevez playing on the left wing in the 2nd half? Fucking 4-5-1.
