Bloody hell that was a nerve racking second half! We should have killed the game off with the number of chances we had, but we left Birmingham a chance to get back in it, which we can not afford to do. Lovely worked goal; I actually thought Ronny and Tevez are a could striking team, with lots of one twos and overlaps. Carrick gave away so many balls today, it was disappointing. Anderson and Tevez were brilliant. Shame Tevez got injured. Evra did a great job helping out up top, and Ronaldo was typical Ronaldo. However, I would like to see him being less selfish at times! Atmosphere was mixed. There were periods where you could here a pin drop. There were also a few good spells, but overall it was disappointing. We got the three points, and that is what matters.

Nani had one of those frustrating performances today, reminded me of the old Ronaldo, completely overcomplicated most things and it's so frustrating because you can see he'll be quality once he finds the balance of simple and special.
Bad performance by the team, we won that thanks to Tevez and Vida, there was just no struture to the game, but it's win anyhow so bring on Villa. They'll have to up their game for Villa though. Hope Rooney's back!

And I do believe Park is powered by a battery. Except he never runs out of energy. It's fantastic to have him back helping out all over the place.

just seen the replay on MOTD, it seems he had it in his shorts all the time, thought Tevez was cracking today, great assist from Ronaldo. Haha, at the end when Tevez is being carried off, he has one of his boots off, and he kicks one of our trainers up the arse!

Aye grinning his head off just before he booted him He looks like a right card. Park aint battery powered though.........nuclear maybe. Not the greatest game of the season but at least the 3 points are in the bag. I hope Tevez is ok, he's a phenomenal player for United.

Three points, first and foremost. Three points.
Moments of brilliance, which on another day would have seen us win 3 or 4 nil, but today, see us cling on for a 1-0 victory. If we weren't playing against shite today, we would have drawn/lost. Thankfully, we were playing against shite.
Park was great. He seems to have come back to the team in just the way he left. He's such a valuable squad player and I'm pleased to witness first hand that all the praise Fergie was giving him was deserved.
I'm not a Carrick basher, but FUCK ME I haven't seen muck like that from a United player in some time. WOW he was shit. Couldn't tackle, couldn't pass, couldn't do a fucking thing right. Looked hopeful everytime the subs board flashed up, then absolutely gutted to see his number not on there.
Three points that we needed. Now on to our stomping ground, Villa Park, hopefully putting memories of Birmingham and West Ham behind us!

Carrick seems to be low on confidence at the moment, he's been a shade of the player last season and when he gets back to his usual self he'll be useful.
Anderson was brilliant today, that time up the wing when he done one player, megged the other and crossed for Nani who attempted an audacious shot. I just love Anderson.
Tevez had the dummy in his shorts? Haha, must have tasted like sweat and all sorts. Urgh!
Great link up play between him and Ronaldo though, Ronaldo deserved a goal today was unlucky with the header and the shot cleared off the line.
Three points are all that mattered though, we should have scored more goals but Birmingham made it hard for us. I like the look of Daniel De Ridder and it was no surprise he made a lot of difference to Blues when he came on.
Roll on the FA Cup tie at Villa, cannot wait!

Anderson fits in great here, and I don't mean becouse he's a flair player, but because you can tell he loves the game and puts his all in.

The thing about Anderson is (in my opinion), he's great for 60/70 mins but after that he just disappears. I guess he's not 100% fit?

I wouldn't say he dissapears, but for the last 15-20 mins he did make a few mistakes i noticed. But he is going to be a spectacular player soon. He has what it takes. I love that kid.
Also agree with what sky said about Nani, very frustrating like a younger Ronaldo, but you can see the talent and the possibilities he has coming. Oh and finally, what the fuck was with Carrick, he's been playing shit for the last few games now.
