Beautiful free kick, three points, comfortable night. All good. That could have been a very tricky game.

I felt the only thing lacking was a goal from Rooney.

at the end impressed by Nani and Anderson and how they combined each other and that great chance by Anderson, sad he didnt score that it could be much higher scoreline but very pleased by performance
also once again great support by fans and see a little peace of new banner at stretford end, looks great

Ronaldo won it in 15 minutes... I feel sorry for Rooney though, he's clearly not in top form at the moment.

Ronaldo won it in 15 minutes... I feel sorry for Rooney though, he's clearly not in top form at the moment. The best thing about Rooney was, he was remarkably cool and smiling today despite not getting a goal But that freekick....OOOOOOH !!!!

Could've been much worse for Pompey but I can't complain. Ronaldo has now scored more Premiership goals than Derby.

Glad to see Scholesy back ! I still think that our ideal midfield pairing would be of Sholes and Carrick.
And what a Freekick by Ronaldo !! Fucking great.

Awesome performance, turned what could have been a tricky , nervy match into a stroll in the park. Did anyone see Souness and Jamie Redknapp on Sky.....they were like two excited kids talking about Ronnies free kick, Redknapp said it was the best free kick ever scored in the Premiership and one of the best of all time!!!

Ronaldo's free kick.... #worship# #worship# #worship# #worship#
Scoreline flattered Pompey a bit, but I'll take it. Too bad Wayne didn't score, he needs some goals, but hey, we're top of the league!

Just saw the free kick. Holy shit! Good solid performance by all accounts. Beat Spurs now on Saturday and we really are in business. Which we will. How did Nani play?

Great performance. Wanted a third, to match Le Arse's result yesterday, but the clean sheet is good enough. Title race is heating up.
I think from now on in predicting the score in any match at OT, let's all just say "2-0; Ronaldo with both". Anything else shall be a bonus. What a player.
Ooooooo, 18 years ;D ...
