i was never expecting it to be as easy as it was last night. great performance from utd and im strugglin to think of anyone who didnt have a good game. lookin stronger and stronger now at a crucial point in the season, and startin to get all our players back which is great. if we're top of the league now, without havin a good run with our first Xi, imagine what we can be capable of.
ronaldo is jus simply incredible. i think im gonna be pretty gutted when ronaldo plays and doesnt score, im jus so use to seeing his name on the scoresheet.

The stewards were pissing me off a bit last night. At the top of the East stand, this one kept coming up and telling people to sit down. Later on, everytime he came up, this one guy kept standing up singing 'stand up for the champions' and obviously stood up. Most did the same, but at one point hardly anyone did, and some guy started singing 'sit down for the champions'. Legend, but I can see why he was singing it as it was getting quiet with 20 minutes to go and people were just sat there quitely. Got annoying towards the end.

What a freekick!!! Ronny won us the game in those few minutes but it should have been by a lot more. The atmosphere was pretty good in the first half but died in the second, the Stretford end was quality as usual especially with the Calypso airings. I was surprised at how poor the Pompey fans were even in their low numbers (which was surprising too) I know it was a midweek game and long distances but i would have though they could get 2000 to go to arguably their cup final. It's a shame we eased off the pressure and couldn’t bloody score in the second half because my bets of 4 or 5 nil looked like they could happen Ah well 3 points top of the league, Liverpool losing, City drawing against DERBY it wasn’t a bad night

I have never seen anyone get the ball up and down with the sort of power behind it. He couldn't of put it in a better place. It was so good I can't even do it in a computer game.

The 2nd tier did look pretty scarce with 5 minutes left. Edit: I also recorded the Flowers of Manchester song that was song before kick off on my phone. If I'm able to load it to my computer then I'll post it here too.

I thought it was a sensible performance last night. Van der Sar wasnt troubled for a minute which is always a good sign. It looked as though we could have taken it up a level at any time. The atmosphere was good too for a mid weeker. Fantastic to see Scholesy back pingin the 60 yard balls!! Dont think i need to say anything abt Rons free kick, I looked awesome live but didnt realise how good it was till i saw the replay while chuggin a half time Bud.. . . . isnt it nice to be able to take off ronaldo n rooney n bring on hagreves n tevez?? I bet Sol campbell slept all the way back to pompey!!

A game devoid of any entertainement. I could've gone to the toilet anytime after the second goal and not missed anything of note.

Christ, I didn't respond to your original post because I assumed you were joking......you must have the boredom threshold of a 4 year old boy. You must be a right pain in the arse to watch the match with. Coming out with comments like that just makes it look like you don't actually understand the game. Which, of course I am sure is not the case By the way here is some footage of the free kick (and about 3 mins leading up to it) shot by a fan. It will be deleted soon, watch it while you can
