Jus saw this on Sky sports news.. they are talking about Kenyon meeting with agents etc. doubt its true though is Fergie really dumb enough to sell Ruud to Chelsea?...
Although if its for silly money and Gudjonsen is it worth it? I'd still think not.

I wouldn't accept any offer from Chelsea unless it involved Lampard or Terry.
That said I'm sure united won't sell Ruud to them.
The thing is united are still the biggest team in England despite all of whats happened in recent years and its united that sells newspapers.
The problem for the rags is that we are notoriously good at keeping things under raps, thats why when we sign players unless its a world record like rio or rooney, nobody expects it.
So its about this time of year that they start printing any old bullshit to make headlines and sell papers.
I mean for years we were linked with the same five six players every summer, and we were always meant to be selling the same players too. Don't be suprised if somewhere along the line we hear of Inter making a bid for giggs thats usually a populart one. And Ole going to spurs is another.
Until there's a news conference on sky - I never believe any of the rumours.

Cant go to Chelski i always felt if they got a goal predator like Ruud we would be really fucked ,as i see it right now we are only one/two class midfielders behind them...As long as they dont get him couldnt care less who they get up front.

Ruud to Chelsea? If that happens I expect to read a quality blog from Scott the Red about Fergie's decision making...

I don't think Ruud van Nistelrooy will leave for any other Premiership side. If he does leave I think it will be back to Holland or Italy.

Ruud I think as much as he's pissed off at Fergie loves united enough to not go to one of our rivals, if he does leave it'll be to Italy or Spain to another big champions league club and given our performance in this seasons competition having him at another champions league club isn't realistically going to hurt us unless we draw them in the groups of the first knock out stages.
England is different from most big european leagues, big players rarely move between the top few clubs, in Italy so many players move from Milan to Inter that I've lost count, and when Juve had a keeper crisis Milan loaned them one! Eto'o went from Real to Barca, Figo went from Barca to real! Since chelski became a big power in english football not just the perenial also-rans we flogged Veron to can you remember anyone going from one of the following to another:
Arsenal, Chelski, Liverpool Man Utd?
NEIN!
Ruud will end up at Milan, or Real or Valencia or somewhere like that he won't stay in the premiership, but if he does and he goes to Chelski...then may god have mercy on us cos we won't be seeing the title anytime soon!

I agree normally they dont move between the big guns lets hope Ruud is only pissed at SAF and not Utd for the poor way he had been dropped.Ruud does seem to be a red so i should think he will move abroad.Or maybe all this speculation is for nothing and hopefully he stays ,being dropped might make him more eager for the next season.I think he was unfairly judged at the end of the season for the penalty miss and for the look of a player who didnt give a shit,he just looked knackered ,we all know he is a striker who needs service if he gets it he will score,if he went to Chelski he would get it.Only takes Ruud one chance to score where as the shit up front there needed ten chances, trouble was they always had so many chances to score, can you imagine how many goals they would of scored if they would of had Ruud upfront for the past two seasons?

It always puzzles me the way all the top clubs in Italy trade players so willingly

MANCHESTER UNITED boss Sir Alex Ferguson will agree to sell Ruud van Nistelrooy to Chelsea - as long as they give them Eidur Gudjohnsen in part exchange. Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon has met van Nistelrooy's agent and it is understood that terms of £100,000 a week were discussed and agreed in principle. And United have given the £15million deal the go-ahead - as long as they get versatile forward Gudjohnsen in a swap. It shows how badly Ferguson and van Nistelrooy have fallen out that United will consider selling to the team that beat them to the Premiership title. Van Nistelrooy, 29 - who is also wanted by Inter Milan - stormed out of Old Trafford on the final day of the season after being dropped following a string of bust-ups. And Gudjohnsen looks to be on his way out of Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Michael Ballack and the possible signing of striker Andriy Shevchenko from AC Milan. The Ukrainian star, who could sign in a deal worth £45m, has promised Chelsea an answer by Wednesday. Newcastle are also interested in Gudjohnsen and Arsenal are known to be keen - but have yet to make a formal approach. Linky-------------- Hmm I don't want to see Ruud go, but thats a pretty good price for him really, £15 mill plus Gudjohnsen.....maybe that cash would be used to bring in a striker to partner Rooney for the next decade (Torres or anyone else who would fit the bill?) Then again it is the mirror so it could be a load of bull.

Ok so a possible midfield of Makelele, Lampard, Ballack and Cole with Sheva and Ruud up front? Two words spring to my mind for next season, oh and shit.

Kenyon would pay silly, and I mean real silly, money for Ruud. If he's going, then it's gotta be for Schev money. They want a striker so much they'll pay it. You can't stop him going to where he wants IF you've to all intents "listed" him. But if it's a question of Ruud the way he played last season and 25£ mill or player equivalent, I reckon it's good money. But I'm still worried about this Quieroz thread that's running through "Rant". Is he the problem?

You'd think anyone at United would be oposed to cutting any sort of a deal where Kenyon's involved, especially one where we're getting rid of our top scorer. Gudjohnsen is good, but he's hardly good enough to replace Ruud, we'd have to get another striker in addition to this, and looking at the top players out there in general, fewer and fewer of them seem willing to come to United. Not pointing any fingers here (although if someone would stop kicking boots at people, sacking the captain and let his assistaint do his best at turning United into a boring and good for nothing team, I'm sure players would be less reluctant to join).
Anyways, back to the topic of Ruud, if his so called attitude problems are in fact a reality, he can't stay at United, because one player is never going to be bigger than the team. He's had some rather bad matches this season, and as much as I rate him as a player, if we can bring in someone else who's equally good, I'm not gonna get upset about his departure.
I doubt it he'll go to Chelsea, maybe Barca will be intersted now Henry aint an opion for them.

I saw your fingers pointing the blame with Sir Alex Ruud is a plus twenty goal scorer every season, something thats hard to come by in the Premiership and it will be no benefit to Manchester United to get rid of such a player unless an adequate replacement can be found, to sell him to the Chavs would be commiting suicide and I doubt if Ruud will ever play in the Premiership again for another club it's merely to sell papers when their is nothing else to print post season. Torres or Klaus Jaans Huntelaar would be the only kids Id like to see at OT and they are both unproven in the Premiership although Huntelaars style is much suited to the English game
