Just because he scores the penalty against England doesn't mean we should sell him.

Not the penalty mate.......
Asking for Rooney to be sent off makes his time as golden boy at United somewhat impossible. His behaviour against a fellow teammate has to be questioned......
Along with the fact he is...... in truth..... a man with very little integrity.... he loves to simulate dives far too much for my liking.

am from N.Ireland so don't care that he put England out lol, but way he acted when Rooney got sent off is questionable and guess only time will tell if it was a heat of the moment mistake or true face of Ronaldo.

Pretty disguisted with what he did to Rooney. No need to be rash and jump to sell him, many might have done the same but his loyalty is poor.
One thing is for sure, he will NOT be popular when he comes back to United amoung the players.

Considering Ronaldo also headbutted Rooney earlier on, it was obvious that Portugal was, with Ronaldo heading the attack, going out to get Rooney sent off. We cannot blame Rooney's red card on anyone but Rooney, however Ronaldo has shown today that with his behaviour that he doesn't expect to be back playing in England or for United.
We shouldn't sell him because he's got no integrity, although to be fair, he doesn't, nor because he won the match for Portugal. We'll sell him because today he made sure he can't return to England.

agreed i think todays show from ronaldo confirms this interest he has in playing for madrid and now he's trying to force uniteds hand by making it as difficult as possible for him to return to united

Wasn't the most friendly of greetings at the start. He's certainly not going to be popular with a large element of our fans after his antics today. I agree with Missy, he looks as though he wants out and is doing little things to achieve it.

Don't take it out on me, mate. It's not my fault that we went out. So why don't you take a breather and stop treating everyone like they're launching a personal attack on you.

This entire thread is a disgrace. Ronaldo gestured to the ref to get Rooney sent off as a ploy to force Utd's hand to sell him? Are you people for real? It Madrid electioneering pure and simple. Another candidate has claimed that he has Fabergas in the bag. Do Arsenal even bother to respond? No because they know its crap. I suppose you'd would have sold Beckham after 98 as well(were you allowed to stay up that late than as you're obviously about 12 now). if Ireland had ever played England in a competitive match do you think Keane would have stopped for one minute to think about breaking up Scholes or Neville? They'd have ended up in the stand. Ronaldo was one of about 5 players around the Ref. He was just the closest to Rooney. We have enough to worry about in this pre-season without this rubbish. I know England fans must be hurting tonight but this won't help. Get behind your players, no matter what. Selhurst Park springs to mind lads.

yes i am for real i think its a real possibility that ronaldo acted the way he did today because he has a desire to play for madrid, that he's already stated, and actin the way he did today towards a fellow utd team mate doesnt suggest he is too concerned about his future relationship with him and considerin that he still hasn't denied recent comments allegedly made by him it doesnt seem like he's fully commited to united. why would i have sold becks in 98 by the way, that has zero relevance to this subject, this isnt about engalnd going out its about ronaldos attitude during the game, tell me do you think he's 100% commited to utd?

At the end of the day Ronaldo is a United player, signed a 4 year contract, declared his desire to be a Red Legend. what more can you do?...
You play for your shirt...and he done that today!
