The first few weeks were a real trial for me as a dad because I just couldn't stand the crying at times because it tensed me up to unbelievable levels. I had to be very mindful not to react physically. It really was tough because I knew she was only a baby and loved her but at the same time I had to deal with my adverse reaction to her loud crying. |

I think a lot of parents, even most parents find it hard to adjust to crying babies and their needs at first. Also annoys me how fathers never seem to be included in the after care, and people seem to worry much more about mum and baby although it can be just as hard, if not sometimes harder to become a dad than a mum.
