Good article Sil. I too would like to think that such slap on the wrists would encourage the aspiring novelists towards writing news that genuinely concerns us, however the cynic that I am thinks that such newspapers have always had the view that if the sale of newspapers from a particularly sensationalist story outweighs the legal costs likely to result, they'd go ahead with publishing and then justify their actions by claiming that it's in the public's interest to know.

I can't help but think you're right Mox, to be fair why should the papers change their ways when people seem to get off on other people's lives being destroyed by rubbish written by the so called journalists

I was just reading a few articles, you're realllly good Thanks hun, I appreciate it I'm currently working on a book of my own, but have another two being planned for but their co-ops with two other people and will be more like biographies whether anything will ever be published though, who knows... If you go to the fiction section of my sight it has 8 chapters of the Air is Cold, which is the beginning of my personal project, only the first outlines of it though so it'd be changed a bit in the future I'd imagine |
