Spain vs. Ukraine - KO 2pm (BST)
My Prediction: 1-2
Teams:
Spain
01 I Casillas
03 M Pernia 05 C Puyol 15 G Sergio Ramos 22 I Pablo
08 H Xavi 14 X Alonso 16 M Senna 11 S Luis Garcia
21 D Villa 09 F Torres
Ukraine
01 O Shovkovskiy
02 A Nesmachniy 05 V Yezerskiy 06 A Rusol 17 V Vashchuk
04 A Tymoschuk 09 O Gusev 14 A Gusin 21 R Rotan
07 A Shevchenko 10 A Voronin
----------------------------------------------- Live On ITV1 ----------------------------------------------- I predict a shocking result today 2-1 to Ukraine although I am looking forward to watching David Villa & Fernando Torres' partnership up front. They are two relatively young strikers (24 and 21 respectively with an average age of 22 and a half ) who are keeping Raul, the all-time record Spanish scorer, out. I especially want to watch Torres, who United have been reported to be ready to offer £25m for.

Come on Torres me boy, I’ve watched him play so many times and he’s been brilliant, time to shine on the big stage now.
I’m going 2 – 0 to Spain.

Do you think the reports are true?...£25m!... It's worth it in my opinion. TeamTalk.com are saying that Rooney, Van Nistelrooy, Saha AND Torres will be the strikeforce next season. I'm excited if that's true.

David Villa makes it two and makes my prediction incorrect
GOAL: DAVID VILLA - 17 mins I was looking forward to watching him and he's scored a cracking goal to put Spain 2-0 up and leave his side looking comfortable.
SCORE: Spain 2-0 Ukraine
CORRECTION: LUIS GARCIA's goal has been awarded to fellow 'Dipper XABI ALONSO!

I want Torres to score of course hoping the rumours are true!...then Fergie will go for him ;D ... I wouldn't mind Carrick, Riquelmé and Torres as well as keeping Van Nistelrooy but I suppose that's for another thread hey 7even!!!

Spain take 2-0 lead at the break
HALF TIME: Spain are coasting this game and the attacking force of Villa & Torres with Luis Garcia supporting has proved too much for the Ukrainian defence. Although Ukraine came into it more in the 2nd half, Shevchenko looks lazy and clearly affected by the recent injury and has suffered also from the lack of support. On the two times the Spanish defence has been breached the linesman has incorrectly raised his flag preventing two almost certain scoring chances for Shevchenko & Voronin.
SCORE: Spain 2-0 Ukraine
