The long awaited rematch between us and Chelsea is finally here and boy is John Terry in for such a pasting!! I'm predicting a shakey 2-2 draw unfortunately Tevez and Fletcher getting our goals.

it was long time ago chelsea was defeated at their ground I just cant see us getting result there, maybe i am too negative about this game but on the other side, scholes will be fit and rested for this game, ronaldo will probably start and berbatov will be ready also win will be a massive result for us, and a big boost for fans and the players

A shock 2-1 win for us against Chelsea. Finally breaking their impressive 3 years unbeaten home record - just when people thought that Chelsea is on a good run and a difficult team to beat at the moment.
I might sound unrealistic but i was quite a pessimist when we were up against the dippers. I'm very confident on us getting a favourable result against Chelsea. This match could be the beginning of a very strong, consistent run from United in the league.
Formation: 4-4-2
VDS Brown Rio Evans Evra Hargreaves Anderson Scholes Ronaldo Berbatov/Rooney Tevez
Subs: 1) Kuszcak 2) Neville 3) O'Shea 4) Fletcher 5) Park 6) Nani 7) Rooney/Berbatov/Manucho

I am usually very optimistic, but for Sunday i have little hope we will get a good result, even now that Ronaldo is back..........hope they prove me wrong!!!

Van Der Sar
Neville - Ferdinand - Brown - Evra
Ronaldo - Scholes - Hargreaves - Giggs
Rooney - Berbatov SubsKuszczak (Foster is out injured now) Evans O'Shea Fletcher Anderson Nani Tevez Will be a difficult game, we're missing a few players, they're missing their most important in Essien in my opinion and possibly Drogba may only make the bench - either way it'll be a difficult game. I've gone for Rooney over Tevez but it could quite easily be the Argentinian who has been great so far. I'm not going to make a prediction on the score but I feel we'll get a good result on Sunday when very little people are expecting it - our football was much better on Wednesday and hopefully we can carry that on on Sunday. C'mon United!

We cannot start this game with both Giggs and Scholes and hope to get a decent result, those days are gone as neither has the fitness or sharpness anymore.
I expect we'll revert to a 451, Rooney probably sacrificed again on the wing, and hopefully get a draw. We have a run of games up to when we play Arsenal that we should win all of. Let's just stay within 3 points of the rent boys for now.

I concur with Mox; we cannot hope to get a result starting with both Scholes and Giggs. Giggs was hopeless when he came on against Villarreal.
Scholes will definitely not last the whole 90 minutes; as was quite clear against the dippers last weekend. However, we do need his craft in midfield.
I don't think that Ronaldo will start either; Fletcher, Park and Nani will battle it out for the two wide positions.
I suppose the most interest will be up front. Assuming Berbatov is fit, will he play alongside Rooney or Tevez?
One thing is for certain - we must not lose. A 9 point gap so early in the season would put the chavs in a position of strength.

My team would be (IF fit):
VDS
Brown - Rio - Evans - Evra
Hargreaves - Scholes - Anderson - Ronaldo Rooney Berbatov
I wouldn't put Gary in cause he hasn't really impressed me since coming back (although I admire him very much), and Giggs also isn't seting the world on fire at the moment. If Ronaldo doesn't start than Nani should start on the left, he did very well on wednesday.
Although it's still early in the season I feel this is a CRUCIAL match for us, cause Chelsea are our main rivals for the title and falling 9 points behind would seriously compromise our title defense, cause they are very strong and I don't expect them to drop a lot of points anywhere, other teams usually roll over and die for them. On the other hand a win would change everything around and than we would be in position of power.

Im being a realist here, the way chelsea are playing, coupled with the way we are playing and the fact the chelsea havnt got beat in 4 years at Stamford Bridge, i can't see us getting anything outa this! Would liked to be proved wrong but somehow i cant see it!
