positives: 1 point at the bridge. rooney, fletscher, park running all the time. rio runs for an attack and gets a shot inside the box. controlled 45 minutes of the game. evans with a really nice premiere league start against chelsea. 4-3-3 working pretty good. (i think no one mentioned that, but as i already said, it will be our formation this year.) kuszacks goal keeping, even though joe cole was off side he kept him from scoring a wonder goal.
negatives: ronaldo coming on for the last 30 minutes doing 2 or 3 runs. nothing else. falling to the ground without a touch. work rate = 0. i could've done the freekick as shit as he did. why the hell didn't hagro took that one? the bycycle kick was nice. we sit back in the second half. referee was horrible. maybe there were 3-4 yellow cards really necessary -> one for rooney, one for joe cole, one for mikel. bad goal keeping from all 3 goal keepers. bad managing from saf: as already mentioned neville was ok but made some bad mistakes -> remember the defending that lead to vds injury, brown should've started. putting in ronaldo when we need to defend (instead of tevez who is able to run back aswell). after the injury from vds there where just two changes left. park needed to come off -> so tevez instead of park. why did he take off scholes? and i think he switched to a 4-4-2 in the second half -> with rooney on the wing.
chelsea did really well in the second half and deserved a point. cheers

Today i see yesterday's draw very differently than i did last night. I was a bit disappointed after the game as i felt we should and could have won, but even with a draw we are just 3 points behind Chelski and 4 points from the top ( i believe we will win our game in hand) and that is a good position to be in after four games and three tough away games. The other top 4 have to play each other so they will loose points and we only get better when Ronaldo is fully fit and Berba gels in with the team. I feel that once we get a whole game right and all players click we will stuff someone ( Bolton at home I hope) and than we will be dominating like last year.
As for the team selection i believe Brown deserves a place in the team ahead of Gary, who doesn't seem to be up for the toughest games and has lost pace. Also I hope Scholes will soon find his form cause he is vital for our team, and from now on Anderson should play with Hargreaves in midfield until Scholesy gets to his best.

Well we should have won at the bridge...we'll do them at OT if we play like tat again..park impressed aswell as fletch..the rotation system didnt work as well as id hoped..we were unable to contain Drogbas constant naggling at the defence when he come on..and why no one took kalou is way beyond me..Rio should have nailed th first chance though..but I think that kickstarted our season the players would have took alot of belief and aggression from that game ready to be unleashed on bolton.

yesterday was an ok result. although nrooney worked hard, he's got his chance up front so needs to score. imo next game we should start with tevez and berbs up front with rooney on the bench.
before i seen yesterdays team i was hoping that SAF started fletcher cos its players like him who we need in the team at the minute, cos he shows alot more fight than other players. so he'd be the 1st name on the team sheet for me next to rio and evra
Evans done very well, and i reckon if we had of started with brown at RB we mite have won it.
i reckon we'll hit 4 or 5 this weekend and that will be the start of our run to retaining the league

I Don't think Brown should of been excluded actually I can't understand it, he should of started at right back, I understand evans inclusion because he's a more natural center half, but he was no where near his marker for there goal, totally lost, but good considering the magnitude of the game. Its great to see a local lad like evans make it to the first team, and take his chance.

If Fergie left Neville and Rooney out and played Brown and Tevez some people would complain. That's the way it is when you have a world class squad.

I'm sorry to say it but Gary Neville has lost a step and should've been on the bench at best. And Brown should've started at right back.

Yep. Neville looked a bit lost at times, and if Ballack hadn't had hurdled his tackle he would have been sent off. He's lacking the pace to play in games like that, and Brown more than deserves his place in the side after last seasons performances.
