It was a good first half hour but after that it was the usual thing with us. What's going on with us? We always seem to take our foot off the gas when we're in control of a game. I really loved the cheering of John Terry! It properly pissed off the chelsea fans in the block next to us!! *Viva John Terryyyy!!!!*The video is a bit small on Facebook but you can also see it on YouTube but its still slightly crappy

I'm rather disappointed with the draw as i had expected a win and we almost achieved it only to concede a goal in the last 10 mins. No one was marking Kalou and our players should have known better when they're defending a set piece. Chelsea didn't look like scoring from open play so it was disappointing to concede from a free kick. Instead of defending in the 2nd half, we should have gone all out for a 2nd goal.
One thing that i have to point out is why the hell didn't SAF put in Tevez over Berbatov in the last half an hour of the match. We were certainly lacking a forward with pace especially when we were going for a counter attack. It was obvious Chelsea would go all out to to grab the equaliser and the only chance for us to kill them off is to score a 2nd goal.
Berbatov is an effective player when we have most of the possession but when we're defending, we need players with pace to counter attack. Whenever Rooney or Ronaldo had the ball in the 2nd half after breaking a Chelsea attack, they were certainly short of options to whom to pass. They either pass the ball to each other or had to hold on to the ball and wait for overlapping runs from either flanks or support from our midfielders. By that time, most of the Chelsea players have run back to defend. We were really missing Tevez's presence today.
I also think that Neville should have been replaced with Brown in the 2nd half. We were lacking of support on our right flanks as Neville was just too slow. He did a good job today but i still think Brown would have contributed more for our offensive play.
We played with the right formation today but the player selection is questionable. We should have won the match and for me the draw is just not good enough.

I have to say I am Utterly dissapointed in our performance today... Did we honestly pay £30M for Berbatov to stand around the pitch looking like the schoolkid that doesnt want to play???
ALSO, what the hell was with the ref today? UNBELIEVEABLE!!

first for stretfordendling©- video on facebook is not working for me, do I need to add you as my friend to see it?
what a great chance that was today, deco and carvalho both went injured, we scored early goal, few great chances at the start, what a chance for rio that was
but in second half chelsea were better team, they pushed and pushed and finnaly scored, suprise how kalou was unmarked, stand alone and chelsea midfield was much better and again as against liverpool all of a sudden our passing was realy bad, few passes and ball is lost
optimistic about the future, i think against bolton will be good game
support was fantastic as always, f** brilliant

Good result. 1-1 (away) is a decent score for us after many were backing Chelsea to win comfortably.
Started well and played aggressively. Don't know what happened after the first half but we should have brought on Tevez for Berba after we took off Park.
I don't understand what people want from Berbatov. Give him some time for fucks sake! He only played his second match for us after no time to gel in the team. Thrown in against Liverpool and Chelsea (both away) what do you expect him to do? He got one assist and played a huge part in Park's goal.

I thought we were going to lose, particularly when I saw the lineup, so I'll take that.
Don't see what sense there was in bringing on JoS for Park. Tevez would be a better defensive as well as attacking option.
The 7 yellow cards was an absolute PISS TAKE. Joe Cole swiped out at Rio and got nothing, whilst Ronaldo wagged his finger at Riley and got booked. Wtf is that? His dive was embarrassing though. Totally pointless and shameful, he needs to get a grip.
First half we looked good, second half we were clinging on a bit. A more experienced top flight keeper would have come to collect the ball they scored from, but judging the way VDS is flapping at the moment, I'm not going to be too harsh on Kus.

Being that my prediction (and hope) was for a draw I should be happy, but I'm not. We've had a tough set of fixtures so all things considered it's not the worst situation to be in but we can't be left too far behind otherwise we're going to make it really hard to come back.
As for the match I thought we played well the first half and I thought we'd be able to scrape the insurance goal from somewhere but alas it never came. Second half I found myself hoping against hope that a 1-0 lead would be attainable but when I saw Kalou head the ball my stomach sank. Not being at the top half of the table is pretty deflating, and yes it's early but that doesn't have the same meaning it did a few years ago.

I"m please with the point and also the performance.Dissapointed to concede a late goal but in all fairness they deserved an equaliser.Gary had a great game and he certainly proved me wrong,i thought he wouldnt be able to cope with chelseas pace.Berbatov will get better, remember, anfield and the birdge are the 2 toughest places for strikers to play in so he will be banging in the goals soon.Rooney was fantastic as well.Rio and evans had a good partnership.Overall,i"m satisfied with the point. When we win our game in hand, its only 3 points behind chelsea and 4 points from the top and we"ve got easier fixtures to play now. So,i"m pleased with the point.

no disrespects to fergiei or Gary Neville but i really think Wes Brown shulda play instead of Neville, remember Brown was the supplier of Ronaldo's goal in the CL final, neway.......i was pretty pissed when they scored that goal, we really shulda wrapped it up before that.....but we still got a point at Chelsea and if we beat Fulham with our game in hand were only a few points behind, and we've already played 2 of the 3 other top 4

Yup, i find the comment on Neville surprising as well. Neville did ok but he was struggling whenever he had to run back for the ball. He didn't do much overlapping either and that would have helped with our offence. No disrespect to him, but he is too slow for the team. Neville's current style of play and pace would only suit a flat four defence and not as a wing back.

I wonder if Brown has fallen out with SAF? In Vidic's absence, I would have expected him to be even more pivotal; either in the centre or on the right. He was effectively dropped for the last 2 games. However, I thought that Johny Evans performed very well in the centre of defence.
I thought Neville did ok yesterday, but he was left clutching at air by the pace of Drogba and Ballack! In fact, if it wasn't for Ballack being such a nice guy he would have walked. In hindsight, surely substituting Neville for Brown would have been more astute than bringing on John O'Shea for the hard working Park?
