Anyone else watch Crawford vs Spence?
Genuinely was taken aback by the ease as to which Crawford took Spence apart, I don't think that even the biggest Crawford fan would have thought it would be that easy.
Wouldn't mind seeing it at 154 and i suspect Crawford would do that deal, them clean up that weight class to become 'undisputed' in 3 weight classes

Wouldn't mind seeing it at 154 and i suspect Crawford would do that deal, them clean up that weight class to become 'undisputed' in 3 weight classes Spence has apparently activated his rematch clause aswell. He needs to go back to the drawing board because the fight was as one sided as you're ever likely to see and he's a good boxer. Crawford is just levels above him. |

Can't argue with that based on what we saw. No doubt that Spence blowing up in the last 15 months and having to really boil down did not help at all but even at 154 I just can't see how he manages to bridge the gap and climb the necessary levels. I have to be honest I genuinely though that Spence's power, body work and relentlessness would wear down Crawford. Certainly not going to go against Crawford again at 147 0r 154. He just needs to enhance his greatness and clean out at 154. Also very interesting that Bomac said Spence should have faced Crawford years ago when Crawford first came into the division. In the time gone by he has fully grown into the weight and that has meant he is super super comfortable |

Am I the only one thinking AJ is looking to cash out against Wilder in January?
Just don't see how he will not be able to get hit by Wilder and when he does I Can't see his chin or legs holding up.

I think his career as a serious, top level fighter is over already. He’ll recognise that and it’s about paydays now. He’s a very tentative boxer now, he’s slowed a lot and is if anything even stiffer than he was as a younger fighter. He’s a better boxer than Wilder, most are. But as you say, he’ll get hit and can he stand up to that? Doubt it. He’ll go into it knowing and accepting there’s a big chance he’ll be beaten. Still a massive fight though and that’s all they’ll be interested in. |

Oh yeah. That referee was a homer He got hit with a “low blow” in I think the second AJ fight. Never thought too much of it at the time, but I’ve seen it back now and I’m not sure it was low. He wears his gear hitched up too high. I think he just doesn’t like body shots. |
