I'm fairly sure you have to have a medical before any type of move, be it permanent or loan. @ericator - More than likely Welbeck won't be allowed play against us while on loan.

Premier league rules don't allow loan players to play against their parent club.

Saw highlights of the Preston match today on sky... Great play by James and King!! Yeah great stuff from the pair of them, if they keep it up they could both force their way into our first team.

All seven of the loanees are down for action today. Matty James, Danny Drinkwater, Cameron Stewart and James Chester all started, while Danny Welbeck, Mame Diouf and Joshua King were all on the bench. As of yet Welbeck is the only one not to have come on.
Full reports on each player to follow....

I caught the last 25 mins of the Blackburn game. I don't know how long Diouf had been on by then, but due to Everton having most of the ball for the remainder of the game he didn't see much of the ball.

Diouf came on after an hour, so you saw most mof his time on the pitch. Thats dissapointed news he didnt see much of the ball, as it means he probably won't be starting again next weekend.

the SSN commentators were saying he was looking lively and threatening and had plenty of energy and a willing runner, but when he got the ball he was only ever the one going forward.
