I've just ordered season one on Amazon, haven't seen it yet but have heard great things about it.
Anyone see it yet?

Just finished watching it yesterday, was very good, short and high quality. If only more US shows were like that.

I've had a fascination with zombies, outbreaks and the likes since I was 10, maybe 11, which looking back nearly 15 years later is a little concerning, especially at that age. I blame the Playstation and Capcom. Nevertheless, I've watched all 6 episodes of The Walking Dead numerous times and although they veer away from the comic (big deal for the majority of people no doubt), the show has a fantastic feel of seclusion to it, especially in the beginning episodes. You can't help but feel attached to the characters. A feat no doubt primarily down to Frank Darabont. So if you can put up with Mr Lincoln's cringeworthy take on an American accent, I'd definitely recommend it. Bring on October and its 13 episodes.

It's bloody fantastic. One of the best shows I've seen in years and years. Can't wait for season two to start soon!

Can't wait for this. Wondering how far they'll go with it, isn't there about 30 books?!!

Well Robert Kirkman has said a few times that he has no intention of ending it, at least not for a few years anyway. So I expect there will be a shed load more books.

Yeah, I read that too. And I believe he has no intention of ever really explaining how it all happened!

Read upto chapter 81 before I watched the first season and was a little disappointed that they deviated from story in the comics because it was so strong in the first place but still thoroughly enjoyed watching it and will definately try to keep up with the second season just to see where they take it.

Really looking forward to the second season. I'll avoid the comics until the tv show is done I think.
