I think Moyes deserves some blame too. He must have power or at least authority as manager to say which players we are going for and how much should we be willing to pay. If it had been Woodward and Ferguson this would have not went like this. He told Woodward what players he wanted. Woodward failed to get them. Also, Moyes isn't in charge of the money. So, how is this Moyes fault?

I feel so low and depressed today, like we've just been beat 6-1 at home. We finally sign a midfielder but nobody is really excited about it. This should have probably been the best transfer window in years. It's turned into the worst ever. Now Fergies gone, it doesn't feel like our club anymore. Like a load of strangers are running the show. This is the first time I've genuinely been worried about the club. This entirely. Pretty much

Signed the Petition. Hope it gets all the signatures it needs. Won't mean much i suppose ,have gotten about 100 mails and FB posts trolling already and this ain't gonna go away. This ain't Moyes's fault in anyway , Clubs are and will be baying for our Blood henceforth and Everton are no different. The Greatest Manage of one of the Biggest Club retired , it will always be United against the rest , its the results of all our success , everyone wants to see us fail and become miserable and well Ed did ward of all the potential to make sure at least fans were happy , just forget that it will the opposing Fans that's all. There is hollowness that can't be explained or go way and its bound to stay for a long time. Moyes has to do one great Magic act to be able to get us to a comfortable position given the signings other teams have made. couple of Miserable seasons may force them into action of either Buying players or Selling the club , but am afraid that Moyes may not be able to take the idiots that'd spurt. The best thing i could see from all this is there will be a lot of plastics that may leave the fan base . What would they care , season tickets sold, huge revenue. WIll get a warning for sure , but i really pray that the Gimps each and every one of them pays for this dearly in BLOOD.

David Moyes is the head of the club. He has power to push things in the right direction. He can't demand the board to give him as much money as he wants but surely his influence is huge. He was able to do nothing with it. Therefore he deserves his share of blame. I'm not calling to sack him or anything and I'm completely behind him but to say he's just the innocent victim here is hiding yourself from the fact that we probably don't have the best manager in the game any more.

I would agree that Moyes is a tiny bit to blame but only slightly. Most of the transfer deals are hear say of course and not one person here knows what actually went on. I heard that Moyes didn't fancy Thiago (though he probably was just waiting on BM), he chased Fabregas who was never coming and made it public when there was no need, said no when offered Ozil (unless it was based on price), but the more annoying aspect for me was simply going back to his old club for signings. If he wanted to make his mark, he shouldn't really have played the safe option but I guess if he didn't, we'd have fuck all new.
That said, 99% of the blame goes to that clueless cunt Ed. Moyes has really tried to have a go, believing he had a real chance of getting in real quality and he's let down by this bell end trying to save a couple of million here and there when we ended up paying over the odds anyway for plan K. Sadly it's Moyes who will feel the wrath while, as always, the board just sit there diving into there Scrooge Mcduck money pit.

Sid Lowe recaps the baffling events surrounding United
Manchester United's bungling, not any supposed 'impostors', were to blame for leaving Ander Herrera hanging in limbo during Monday's frantic final day of the summer transfer window, according to widespread Spanish and Basque press reports.
It had appeared that United were set to trigger the £30.5 million clause to release Herrera from his Athletic Bilbao contract, while the player himself had agreed to take a pay cut to help the deal through, and three 'representatives' were photographed entering the Liga de Futbol Profesional offices in Madrid to finalise the deal.
However, the trio left without completing the mooted transfer, with United sources telling ESPN that red tape and technical issues were to blame.
Reports subsequently emerged in the UK claiming that the three Spaniards pictured outside the LFP building were 'imposters', while the Old Trafford club moved to sign Marouane Fellaini from Everton for £27.5 million just before the window shut on Monday night.
The 'imposter' claims have been scoffed at in Madrid and Bilbao, where the blame is being placed on United's shoulders.
Marca names the three lawyers photographed as Guillermo Gutierrez, Alvaro Reig and Rodrigo Garcia, from the Bilbao law firm Laffer Abagados. This firm specialises in sports law, and were reportedly used by Javi Martinez and Bayern Munich to successfully negotiate the process of finalising his move to Germany 12 months ago in similar circumstances.
Marca headlined its story on the fiasco on Tuesday morning as 'Grotesque mess by United', while AS' Athletic correspondent Nika Cuenca called it an "amazing episode" which resembled one of legendary Spanish film director Luis Garcia Berlanga's classic farces.
United could return with another offer for Herrera, 24, during the January window, according to Marca, but it remains to be seen whether the player himself will now be open to joining the club after Monday's reports of confusion.
Herrera is expected to give his own version of Monday's events, perhaps as early as Tuesday lunchtime after training at Athletic's Lezama facility.

The only thing Moyes can be blames with would be his Trust in that Ed knew Football and Transfer Transactions and was competent to carry out them in a smooth way to successful closure. That and probably what Everton fans called him dithering Dave. Altho i can't seem to think that there is actually any proof of the latter.
I sure would like to know if it was Moyes who didn't want Ozil or was it the Money( Given the Unlimited funds). SET ,TATTY , anyone any idea??

There is little expectation that the petition has any effect on actually ridding us of Woodward whatsoever. It's more to try and garner some media coverage of our complete disgust and distrust of Woodward and the way he handles the footballing side of United. Maybe try to keep media pressure on this shambles for more than 5 minutes.
