They've announced a remaster for Rome: Total War (the original) for next month, so thats me sorted for the rest of the year.
I bought that for half price as i already had the original in my library - Hopefully SPQR or Roma Surrectum mods will work on it

How did you lads get on with the rd2 map did you get everything?
I stopped playing it a while ago, I cannot get into it for some reason. The ending to the main game has broken me

Same. Don't think they will initially but the game has full mod support so should be a matter of time before old and new mods are uploaded for it.

How did you lads get on with the rd2 map did you get everything? Some of the side quests involve going into Blackwater, which I'm not at that stage yet. I could reload and do the epilogue to complete but I'm just lazing about with my Arabian exploring stuff. yea i still spend hours just riding around occasionally getting jumped by gangs or meeting new strangers still a class game.

Anyone played Immortals Fenyx Rising? I've just bought it. It's made by the same team that made AC: Odyssey, so I've got high hopes. It looks stunning at the very least.

There's a heavy puzzle element which I wasn't expecting, but like a lot. Open world, combat, puzzles and Greek mythology in one game definitely gets my approval.

Got the Platinum for Horizon the other day, cracking game. Got all the DLC trophies too apart from the New Game Plus ones. Now have that familiar void in my soul that only pops up after I finish a great game or TV series!

I'm a fair few hours into IFR now. It's far from the best game I've ever played, but it is pretty fun. The biggest compliment I can give it is that I'm a bit annoyed that the Euro's are interrupting playing time.

Elden Ring looks like it's going to be spectacular. From Soft is one of the best devs in the world. I hope they don't go full on 'souls' levels of difficulty with it. I don't like it when games are too easy, but I don't like them to be too frustrating, either. I get why those games are so popular, but I prefer my games to be fun to play rather than rage inducing...

Probably the greatest combat system in any game ever.
