I hope they don't go full on 'souls' levels of difficulty with it. I don't like it when games are too easy, but I don't like them to be too frustrating, either. I get why those games are so popular, but I prefer my games to be fun to play rather than rage inducing... I hope it's like Sekiro. Have you played that? Probably the greatest combat system in any game ever. My eldest loves that game, but I haven't played it. He loves all those Dark Souls and Bloodborne games, but they're a bit much for me. He said Sekiro is about as challenging as Bloodborne, so I didn't bother with it.

But it offers a different challenge. The combat in bloodborne is tougher and a lot more boring. Combat in sekiro is so much fun that the challenge becomes secondary. The lore is better too. Besides I'll play most games where I get to wield a Katana in feudal Japan 🤣

Ghosts of Tsushima is getting a "Director's Cut", with a new island expansion and full native PS5 support (so 4k option, 60FPS option etc.). Might finally have to dive in.

Steam Deck looks interesting, very interesting. I'll wait and see how it performs in the real world though.

Got myself an Occulus Quest 2 yesterday. OMFG! I'm still finding my way around it but shit, if you can get one, do it! VR! Wow.

Is anyone here clued up on laptops etc? Cos I'm really not. But I'm after a reliable refurbished one.

I can already see why people love it so much, it's beautiful and none of the activities feel superfluous (at least not yet). My only gripe so far is I wish it were a bit easier to reveal more of the map.

Gaming, video editing, or easier things like web browsing and watching movies? Must admit I don't know much about the refurbished market, but anyone who does will still need to know that info.

I could probs stretch to 200 and I literally would only use it for poker and general use. I'm not a hard-core gamer or anything, basically just after a good website really

Good advice. It may also be worth looking into a chromebook if the poker can be played through a browser.
