This one certainly gets the blood pumping! The anxiety of facing those hordes is something I haven't experienced often whilst gaming. Not for me mate Each to their own my dude!! That's what I love about gaming. What works for one doesn't necessarily work for the next person.

Very, very, very, very late to RDR2. What a game! Don't think I've ever racked up >50 hours on a game so quickly. Didn't even play the first one Currently really into Civilization VI, what a bloody game!

Very, very, very, very late to RDR2. What a game! Between RDR2 and Elden Ring I have something like 600hrs of play. 2 greatest games I've ever played.

Can’t see me sticking with it after playing the brilliance of RDR2. Used to play all kinds of games but open-world/RPG type stuff are all I can get into nowadays. I need something with a good narrative.

Just enjoy RDR2 for all of its magnificence.

Completed the story, including the epilogue. Still got a good few hours worth of play left with all the extras though.

I'm actually replaying RDR1 right now. It's been four years since I played 2, and 15 since I played 1, so it's a good dose of nostalgia without me having to compare every button press to 2. 2 may be the greatest game ever IMO, but 1 does have the better music at least. Liar's Dice and cheating at Poker are also great too.
It's nice filler before gaming season gets busy. I've got my eyes on Star Wars Outlaws, Astro Bot, Football Manager 25 (obviously) and Assassin's Creed Shadows before the end of the year. Then Civ 7 in February! I have over 1000 hours in 6 so I hope that delivers.

Civ 6 is a strange one, always thought it was too slow for me until I recently started playing and found it incredibly absorbing. Can lose 4-5 hours straight in it, and due to the turn based nature of the game I can multitask / do other stuff simultaneously.
The music / score is immense too, and Sean Bean is a great narrator.
The gameplay footage + developments around Civ 7 look incredible, can't wait for Feb 2025!

Tempted to go that route on my next mobile, seeing good things.

I switched to PC in Feb and struggling to find a game to sit down to put some time in, mainly due to having a 2yr old and waking up early to be in the office at the new job. Debated restarting RDR2 and/or Elden Ring because neither allow you to transfer saved data from Xbox to PC. Started playing Battlefield 2042 as a time waster with buddies which isn't all that bad
