Because we dont have much money and he would be free. And he wouldnt be here for years and years so wouldnt stop the progress of the youngsters coming through.
And going through a season with only 3 recognised strikers is dangerous given our love of a good injury crisis in recent seasons

Why Raul?
He's a legend, still got it, wouldn't mind playing from the bench/limited games, and is a legend. And would be free, and wouldn't stop Keane breaking into the team in 2/3 year. And did I mention he is a legend.

fergie has always liked raul as a player and also liked the way he conducts himself off the pitch.
as for didier he would run here, i have no doubt about that.
he would get paid and would win trophies he would absolutely plead for the deal

Aye the talents there, but hes also a twat. After all the abuse meted out to him, would be abit hypocritical to welcome him with open arms. Altho i spose we destroyed that barrier when we welcomed Owen. If thats the case, cant we just bring in Balotelli? Least we would get a laugh out of it. Drogba looks like hes permanently sucking lemons |

Why Raul? he's a better Henrick Larsson. and he didnt do too bad, in his older age, with us did he?
As for drogba, I would take him, but 1) i doubt he would come, what with the potential better financial deals, with more game time that he can get elsewhere; and 2) Can u imagine that drama queen in our dressing room? (not a right fit character wise in my opinion)

Drogba? Nah. We don't really need divas in our squad. He should really go back to Ivory Coast and run as a candidate for president. Think he has enough reputation and popularity to do something good.
