Everything I've ever heard from Avenged Sevenfold has sounded like someone else to me. Not saying they aren't talented but I don't think they push the envelope that much. Having said that, neither do Mastodon anymore. They seem to have settled into some kind of middle of the road vibe. Where is the true successor to Blood Mountain.

Yeah I agree but I look at it as they can pull off all types of Rock music. Having only discovered them a month or two ago it's about all i'm listening to so i post them a bit much. |
