Got this yesterday.

Getting used to the little differences to Oblivion, like the colour scheme of the inventory, spells etc and the game just being mahoosive in general.

Some things annoy me in Skyrim in contrast to other TES games, where is athleticism, acrobatics, really fucked, I'm always playing as thief/assassin, and acrobatics had major impact in previous TES games, you could jump literally anywhere and shoot people with arrows without being noticed, and these perks are just not what TES is all about.
For me, Morrowind is still the best TES game ever, Skyrim is bad ass, but if they wanted to make it even better they would include more Morrowind stuff. Where are boots of blinding speeds, they were so fucking awesome, when you run, you literally go blind. What about jumping on top of the water, things like that, or the various combinations of armor that one can use.
If they included all of that in Skyrim, I doubt that there will be ever better game in the world.

EDIT:
Oh yeah, and when you where werewolf in Morrowind, you could deal massive ammount of damage unlike in Skyrim. Plus, vampirism is pussy compared to Oblivion, you had to go through million of little quests to cure thyself, now just pray on the altar and that's it.

So, I have all legendary daedric armour and all legendary daedric weapons. I feel like I should just go and finish the game now, but I really don't want too! I'm only level 52 so I suppose I could get that as high as possible. Anybody got any good long missions I can do? I have done all the main quests for the imperials, the dark brotherhood and the companions. I can't seem to do anything else for the thieves guild due to a bug on the mission no stone unturned.

what bug are you getting on that mission? there might be a way round it and the thieves guild missions go on for a good while.

you could try and get some of the achievements. cleared 50 dungeons? that could take a while. the miscelaneous missions are said to be self-generating as in they never end but i'm not sure if that's true

The bug i'm getting is that I'm supposed to meet Karliah and Brynjolf at the standing stone but they never show up. I've looked on the internet pages and there doesn't seem to be a solution.

There are plenty of dark brotherhood quests by approaching the night mother but they are boring and not amazingly rewarding. I'm going to brush up on certain skills I think. Some are a bit too low.

re no stone unturned- just had a lil look, i've only found about 6 of the stones so i've not finished that mish but i have finished the thieves guild missions (i know one of the objectives says 'become a full member of the theieves guild' - ignore it) have u found all 24 then? elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/No_Stone_Unturned_(Skyrim)

and yeah, smithing and enchantment are easy skills to level up to 100, just keep churning out iron daggers and enchant them with magic.
