Got Dawnguard last night, played an hour or so, seems like good fun but can't really say much, need a proper good go at it.

do you play through with your original character or is it a new character or a choice between the two ?

couple of missions in to dawnguard. it's good. but the game needs patching, it can be laggy and the game is prone to crashing. i've seen a good few people online are having this problem. (xbox, dunno about other platforms)

advice - save your game frequently. i'm literally on the save every couple of minutes when im in a cave cos i hate having to do stuff over again.

I found it worked perfectly for me, I have it on the Xbox. I want to get it on the PC though for all the mods.

Have to say I really enjoyed Dawnguard, although it was a tad on the short side. I thought the new areas added to the map were pretty spectacular, especially Forgotten Vale and that side-quest which involves finding that special underground forge. Also it's rather embarrassing but I found the section of the main questline where you meet the last remaining Snow Elves to be really quite sad and moving!

After the end of this week i shall be hammering Skyrim and Dawnguard quite abit - only been dipping in and out when i can on Skyrim so will be nice to get some serious playing done

I'm still playing, best game ever, wish they could do Morrowind with these graphics, downloaded new DLC as well, Dawnguard, Vampire fucking Lord, plus, in December, new DLC is out, battle against first Dragonborn or somtething, anyways, of to play Skyrim. Need to drink blood

Dragonborn DLC is out in first week of Dec. lets hope it's longer than dawnguard.

been playing the hearthfire DLC, building myself a mansion.

yeah been back on skyrim last couple of days, proper chill out game when COD pisses me off

Oh well, taking a break from "real world" even internetz at the time
And no wonder COD pisses people of, short campaings, multiplayer oriented, fuck it. And yeah, I'm building mansion my self, seriously time consuming, got to figure it all to be at the right place, I've got one with that fishing lodge or something, near Markath or somewhere in that area, always visiting Wiki page before I make some decisions
Anyways, took short break from Skyrim, playing Assassin's Creed III and Hitman Absolution, great games and waiting for this god damn DLC as well in March, The South Park game

i can't buy the plot of land near Falkreath because of something i did for the dark brotherhood. fucking annoying.

building the mansion takes fucking ages! you can hire a steward to get the materials but fuck it i'll do it myself.

yeah i will play ass creed III and the new Hitman at some point.
