Need to get back into it.

I think its time for me to finish the game now. Going to finish the quests at the bards college, if I have any and go for the end. Still got quite a bit of the main quest to go.
Hopefully I'll finish in time for the 1.04 update which should fix the ps3 issues then I'll give it another bash. Change my style a bit, join the stormcloaks etc.

Finished the main quest and well... what a shite ending. Made me feel really empty. Anyone who has finished it will know what I mean.

Not the best ending Chris. They rarely get it right though. Still a vast and awarding game. Just started all over again. Redguard this time.

Yeah, I'm torn between high elf and dark elf. Last time I was an imperial and I focused on physical attacks. I want to do magic next time out. Any advice anyone?

my mate lew has started a game with every different type of character, he's completed the main quest once and done certain side quests other times.
i've only played through as a wood elf, i've levelled him up in areas not typical for a wood elf. point being it doesn't really matter what type of character u are as far as i know.
if you want to do the thieves guild (my fav side line in the game) wood elf is good choice.

I've gone for the high elf. I want this game to be all about the magic. Apparently they are not so good at the physical attacks which is why I went for it. I think there is a slight difference in the races that are available. You can't really imagine an elf being strong for example. Also, each race gets a different power with the high elf getting highborn which makes you regenerate magicka faster for 60 seconds. Handy when you're main outlet is magic. This game has so many levels its scary.
Named myself Strife Leonheart (after Cloud Strife from final fantasy 7 and Squall Leonheart from FF8. Nerd I know ;D )

Can't imagine finishing the game and starting over. That's why I'm going to take my time.
Also, a handy hint for anyone not that far along, if you use your Dragonshouts in a city, the guard will stop you and tell you to cut it out. Later on at some point, most of the time straight afterwards, a courier will give you a letter from a friend telling you that, while you caused quite a stir using your shout in a city, he's keen for you to continue developing your powers. The letter will tell you where you can find new dragonshouts. It seems to work in every city (I've only used it in three) but it also works if you do it twice (or more) in the same town.

I must say, I''m enjoying being a mage much more than being the warrior type. I am currently wearing dragonplate armour, boots, gauntlets, helmet and thanks to 100 smithing and 100 enchantment, my magic cost is 0. Just flying through the game now. Level 40 and I've hardly done any missions. Not even been to see greybeards yet.

overall though i'm glad i picked up the game, never played any fantasy type games like this before and this one has been sweet as a nut.
hopefully the DLC will be good
level 49 wood elf signing outtie for now.

Just started playing this again. Started over on PS3 because my Xbox seems knackered.
Level 17 at the moment. Just got married. Bit weird.
