Gotze? I don't think so, the lad's ready to be a main man right now. He already is for Dortmund. ok well you've seen more of him than me. just comparing the situation with ronaldo who was a teen when we bought him aswell. looked good from the off but it took him 2 or 3 years til he started delivering like a top player.

Goetze's definitely an amazing player already. Much more the finished article than Ronaldo was.
Like Bestie I can see him taking Euro 2012 by storm, and then the fee would definitely be well out of our price range.

We all know this is only a notion right? It's never going to happen.. Like, Nasri? 'Cause I heard. . . #lgh_%289%29# #hmm# I laugh because only the laughter can cover my tears. The Nasri business still haunts me!

kaka is ripping it up for madrid tonight. a great goal and a great assist for higuain.
madrid would be fools to let him go all the while he's happy there.

Kaka was mint last night against an albeit less than feisty Espanyol. Still, his touch and movement and passing are all things that would look very nice in a red shirt. . .

If there was any chance I'd love the Idea of him at United, class personified.

If we could get him I'm convinced he would fit the exact category of what we need. Experienced, classy, and should give us just enough years to groom Cleverley, Pogba (hopefully we get him to sign), Goetze (God willing we sign him) into full maturity with less immediate pressure on them, plus allow us to bring through the next group of young midfielders from the Academy/Reserves ranks.
I fell in love with Kaka's brilliance a long time ago, but that night he tore us apart at OT is one of the best individual performances I've ever seen against us.

If we keep Pogba then I'd go as far as saying Kaka would be more than sufficient. He'll be there long enough for us to blood the youngsters and he's literally got the entire box of tricks including a fantastic work ethic. Also, he seems a decent bloke.

yeah he is a good bloke, works hard etc. in terms of getting him, i really think the deal has 30 million all over it if he maintains form. at that price there are younger alternatives. ast 15 million its really a different story and marketing wise its a win on and off the pitch.

Kaka , while is class, will not come for less than 30 and at that price he is not one for the future and within 3 years of signing him we would again be looking for someone to fill the boots. I feel we missed quite a few players on the cheap, which would have been great additions to our squad. Nuri Sahin for 10 million, honestly, he was superb for Dortmund, their star man and he went for 10. Mesut Ozil, the lad is top drawer and even he went for a paltry 10 million. Real Madrid got more than money's worth with these two. Then there's Xaqiri for 8. Another star in the making, yet not pursued by us. I honestly do not want Hazard, he is more of a winger than anything else and I think we are okay in that department. Cristian Eriksen was pretty good against us mind you, I thought he moved the ball around intelligently. Hazard is very good, but I personally think he is a winger rather than a central player and even his price tag is around 40 mil, so for that much money I don't know if we need him. the only player I would go for above 30 mil is Mario Gotze. Or Bastian Schweinsteiger, I've been smitten by the lad forever now. Stunning player.

I'm fairly, fairly confident we won't be paying more than 30 million for any player any time soon. Perhaps at most around there but even then it'd be a massive stretch. We simply don't have the cash and, according to the powers at be we're fine in central midfield.
Gotze would be a cracking addition though, obviously. Schweinsteiger, for me is a bit over the hedge, although I do rate him highly!
