don't see the sense in writing him off after his performance today, you need to realise that he's a baby in goal keeping terms. I agree that lindegaard should be number 1 because he's the more mature goal keeper and more rounded at the moment but he isn't crap. Yes that third goal was awful and you need to be stronger than that but everyone makes mistakes, what about jones and carricks defending and rafeal always being in the wrong position defensively and the lack of any reasonable performance in midfield. Why was berbatov marking samba from corners and set pieces, whos fucking bright idea was that. Since we are in the blame game here we might aswell do it right.

Teams no he is a weak link in our side and they are targeting it and are getting rewards. I don't care if a goalkeeper is 16 or 17 he should be clearing that corner it does no matter about age in that situation its common sense. He is afraid of his live when there is a free kick or corner coming in at him. Lindegaard has done nothing wrong but yet gets dropped.

Everyone knows how I feel about De Gea, how long do we continue to play him?
Linders for me is better, he's more confident in the six yard box.

There's no 'blame game' about it, you have to be sheer ignorant to think De Gea has been impressive since joining.
Everytime I stand beside fellow fans in the stadium or in the pub there is a great sense of unrest when theres a corner or if a player is true. If were nervous so is his defenders..He's shocking in the sixth yard box for me he cost us the game today.

How much of that 3rd goal is down to De Gea? And how much is down to a lack of a Rio, Vidic, Evans or Smalling in the centre??

He was poor on the second goal, slow off his line and yet again the ball is slid through his legs.
Prior to the third goal he miss timed his jump and Blackburn nearly scored, then came the third goal he missed timed his jump again.
Come SET i'm always up for defending our lads and looking for positives but with this guy it's hard. Every TV pundit in the country has expressed their concerns with his start as a United goal keeper, right know he looks nothing like it.
He cost us the match in Basel and today he cost us a point at least.

De Gea should have done much, much better for the corner, but the second goal wasn't his fault. If we had won the match, nobody would criticise him for the way the 2nd was conceded, it's just easy to try and find a scapegoat, and he hasn't done himself any favours with the 3rd. But for every goal, and a couple of other chances, we defended poorly.

We did defend poorly Carrick was unlucky with the tackle and Jones was skint but if that was VDS or any other decent keeper they'd be off their line.
How is it that every player that goes through one on one with De Gea slides it under his legs?
