If the worst happens and we end up losing the big man who do you think we should bring in to replace him?
Havent really thought about long-term but I think Fraser Forster could be a greta short term replacement while we look around. Always been a fan of his when he was at Celtic and he has stepped up well for Southampton this year.

Wasnt it the interviewer who said Manchester is as ugly as the back of a fridge, and she said you have to hunt for the nice places. Its not so nice as Madrid,( well it is their capital and mostly sunny so big advantage there) but with David there everything looks wonderful or words similar. Spanish press will make anything up look at Marca the stuff they have come out with and its never happened. Saying that his missus will have a big pull on whether he comes or goes, but De Gea mentioned last year Madrid is only 2 hours flight away, and she goes around the country(ies) singing, touring so its not like he would see her every day anyway. I have a feeling he will sign another 4-5 year contract but that will be it. He will want to play for Real , or maybe Barca at some point as they are 2 of the biggest clubs in the world, its his home country and especially if he becomes Spains No 1 keeper as well, which looks more than likely.

Lloris would be my choice for replacement and Spurs have a habit of selling if the price is right, though with us that price is usually double what they charge everyone else. Cech is still young(ish) for a keeper and can still do a good job...Valdes and cech is still an impressive pair of keepers.
