What kind of self-respecting man (professional footballer at the highest level) moves countries for his woman - this is his career, he'll have plenty of time to spend time with her.
It's not like Real are his dream club, how could it be?

2bh I'm a bit disappointed with how its all been handled. Either say you want to leave or don't. The fans or most of the decent ones anyway have been behind the lad from day one. Does he think he'll get the same from those fickle fuckers in Spain?
If he wants to move good luck to him, there'll be no animosity towards him from me. He's been a rock between the posts and without him we certainly wouldn't be in the top 4 now.
However I want him to stay, should he go to Madrid it'll be the biggest mistake of his life. His confidence will be shot within 6 months.
Come on Dave make a decision ffs, the fans deserve that much!!
Also Woodward is a dickhead for allowing his contract to go so low. Heard that £24m was the offer from Real. As shit of an offer as it is they know should we not accept it he'll be allowed to leave on a free next summer so thanks for that Woodward you bellend.

I completely agree with this, perhaps not 6 months, but he's a confidence player - we've seen first hand how his performances can slump when he's under pressure/scrutiny and over there he'd face the brunt of the criticism. He's one of the untouchables here, he certainly won't be there, especially if they paid 30 million for him and he flaps at a high ball in front of 80 000. |

Never seen a player less bothered by criticism tbh. His confidence should have veen wrecked by the media here but after every mistake he picked his head up and got on with it. |

I've conceded that we lost him. Just wish he'd have some decency and make it known.
I don't agree with Sterling's way of thinking but at least the binlidians know the score.
As Jay said. Just want this shit over and done with and for us to move on. Don't want us going backwards this summer and spending the entire summer focused on a keeper instead of sorting the other areas out. I want us challenging for the title next season.
