Wow, pretty sensitive? I back our players, or certainly try, even when they struggle like Nani, Evans, Gibson and DDG in his early days. I'm not sure how long you've been here (not that it matters) but when we first signed him I was one of the people that backed him to the hilt because I knew he'd be world class. It wasn't easy, plenty wanted shot of him. But once a player wants to leave in this fashion, they can fuck off. It's not like Fletch, having given great service, or Evra. It's because he's homesick. The fucking baby. And because his bird calls the shots. Why doesn't she move, for a few years? The club can't force him to sign when there is 2 years left yet they were relaxed. The messages must have been positive from De Gea. But then the rumours started about him saying we needed to strengthen, needed better players coming in. From a 24 year old? Please. Even if he was unsure then he should have had the decency to sign a new contract with an agreed buyout clause. Not doing this has cost Utd 20 million. Why didn't he? It happens all the time. Suarez made his club 40 extra million by staying another year. 40 and he still got his move. But not our Dave. Who do you think told him to do that? Real the wankers, that's who. So instead of the fans turning on him they chant his name, stick by him, as they've always done, when everyone else said he was a dud. Perfect example of getting your cake an eating it too. We have people like yourself saying, senior management are to blame. Not they're not. De Gea is to blame, because he wants to join that snakepit, despite having played for Atletico. Because he's a snake HAHAHA, way to go, championing a Dipper that racially abused one of our players. It is not DDG's fault he has one year left on his contract and NOW the club decide they need to sell. Yet, many here will cry out how RM will not 'support' him - oh the irony. Some would argue that is a little hypocrital. The rest of it, bollocks and irrelevant. DDG cannot sign a contract if it is not in front of him and, when it was needed, the club did not look to secure his services. Presumably no-one ever signed for 'bitter' rivals? I must have dreamed about Ronaldo, Figo, Beardsley, Law. Drivel. he's hardly 'championing' anyone - Suarez did what was best for liverpool so he could get his move, it's one of the decent things he did. it IS ddg's fault there is only one year left, he's got a 200k a week contract sitting infront of him that he isn't signing. I assume you've never actually seen how RM treat their players? (the fans treat the players that is)

And before you ask- who made me boss? The owner. Polite or not, you cannot deny you just sung the praises of a Dipper over a current, still contracted, United player. WTF has "who made me the boss" comment got to do with it?

If you can't see the difference between illustrating what a player with some degree of respect for his club, regardless of the character of the man, has done to ensure he's done right by them and "championing" him then the rest of your opinion is pretty grotesque. Are you really that blinded by your allegiances? Do you not think the club has tried to renew De Gea's contract, really? You're aware it's an amicable process, right? "Bollocks and irrelevant"? Are you drunk?

And that's what everyone is bitching about and, as a result, calling our player of the year, a cunt.

Of course he fucking can, the only one in here who cannot fathom a non-biased view about someone with regards to a specific set of circumstances is you - you're acting a right git, too.

Polite or not, you cannot deny you just sung the praises of a Dipper over a current, still contracted, United player. WTF has "who made me the boss" comment got to do with it? Are you looking for a fight or genuinely thick? The fact that a wanker like Suarez played ball with Liverpool made them another 30-40 million merely shows up how De Gea has played us for fools. I'm not praising the racist fuck, merely stating a fact. He gave an interview saying he wanted out. He told Arsenal he wanted them to fight Liverpool over their refusal to accept 40 million and a pound. Wenger decided the bad blood it would have caused wasn't worth it and backed down. Liverpool then told him and his agent he would be sold at their price, a year later. Which he was and they made another 30 million. Compare and contrast this with De Gea. Happy to run his contract down, costing us at least 20 million. I cannot make this any clearer for you. You are perilously close to annoying the shit out of me. I'd encourage you to avoid that.

Considering Stew is administrator on here, posting quite frequently, did you see anything out of the ordinary in his post in full capitals with a load of exclamation marks or are you intentionally acting the fool?

Championing:
verb (used with object)
to act as champion of; defend; support: to champion a cause.
Stew neither championed, defended or supported Suarez.
He merely used his contract situation and subsequent transfer to contrast with that of De Gea.

The arguing of de Gea is going way too far lads. We are all united fans and each of us have a different opinon on the matter. It's all cool till people start fighting over immature matters versus the real issue. So instead of flaming can we just talk about De Gea who might be leaving. He hasn't yet and if he does well damn that sucks. No player is bigger than United and while we will lift trophies without him, he might get booed by his real madrid fans. That's it.

Ah yeah I forgot he had one year left on his deal. That's a pain in the arse. It's so obvious these things are done a year or two before they're last year of contract. I think thats what winds me up so much. W hy do we keep getting players who eventually want to play in Spain FFS. TBF, this is only the second time this has happened to Utd. Yes Beckham and RVN were forced out by fergie, as far as i know only Ronaldo and now De Gea have wanted to go, unless theres a player in the distant past ( pre 1997 for me)
