Don't see him fitting in to Barca's style of play. Besides English/Welsh players don't tend to do justice to themselves in the continent. Predict he'll be back in two years with City and ourselves battling it out for his signature.

At least since Harry has been at Spurs. So dunno how he will be able to adapt to the defensive side of things. Anyway, thats besides the point. Even if they play him further up the pitch which I suspect they will, he is far too dynamic for their style. They like slow, controlled, possession football. Bale is more about getting the ball and running with it. Don't see him working in a tiki taka side. We would be the ideal team for him. |

Purely from a football standpoint, us. We like our fast and furious wingers and direct football. He would fit right in. Anyway, its all hypothetical. So much for sweet dreams.

i'd really really like him here.
on the barca thing - he'd absolutely rip it up at barca. they don't expect a defensive masterclass from him, they want him doing a half decent job but mainly bombing forward like alves

jim to be honest i use to think he'd rip it up there at leftback but after seeing barca this season i think he'd get ripped more than he would rip if u get me.
abidal does so well for barca and gives balance because first and foremost he can defend pretty well. bale cant and i think he would wanna play leftback, even at spurs he is always trying o come in centrally for some reason.

Bale can't defend and is too direct for Barca. If Madrid didn't have Coentrao I'd say Bale was perfect for them rather than Barca.

Bale has lost his way at spurs Imo. now i know that will be somewhat dismissed by many, but i think the free roaming that he has been doing has definitely taken some of his threat away. Harry, or whoever is his next boss, needs to make him remember that he is a left winger.
someone compared him to a left sided Tony V earlier, i think that is a decent comparison. now imagine Tony playing on the left side of out midfield (as bale had been trying on the right recently), it just dosent work. stick to what u r good at most of the time and u will be good most of the time.
