Have noticed in his game since he has arrived in the summer from Aston Villa. I do not like to see it i For today for example the penalty indecent he dived to get the penalty even though i was not complaining that it was given but if someone had of dived to get a penalty against us i would not have been happy. Hope Fergie gets him to cut that out of his game.

Fergie actually defended the refs decision for the penalty. But I was disappointed to see Young go down so easily, it's embarassing to be honest....

unlikely to ever happen. The sheer number of cheats in football now is outrageous. Players make all sorts of excuses to validate diving. Bale said recently he'd rather go down easy to avoid injury which is just pure shit. If you want to eliminate it from the sport you need to start banning players properly for diving. A games no good, ban them for 5 or 6 games and you'll stamp it out overnight.

From the refs angle it was a pen, the problem was the assistant that obviously wasnt looking / paying attention

The assistant is the real twat here, not the ref. What is the fucking point of having that twat linesman on the pitch if he doesn't actually help the ref. But yeah, bad dive by Young. But its not like its the first time he has. I mean last season (or season before last) he had won the most number of penalties in the entire league for his team.

Hasn't he got something like seven penalties this season?
Its part of the game nowadays, he's not on his own.

Although I dislike diving in general, don't think our players deserve such extreme scrutiny on this aspect from us. Lets leave that for Bluemoon and RAWK, eh? Doesn't warrant a thread. And anyway Youngy is nowhere near the worst offender in the league when it comes to simulation.

If Young diving is an issue then I hate to hear what you thought about Ronaldo.

A guy who used to be on here and got banned. "irishlad" could well be him. Displays a lot of characteristics but has managed to keep them in check. UNTIL NOW......

He doesn't always dive but he does exaggerate falls and contact a lot.
It's annoying.

Meh, I think it's a lot like Ronaldo or any other player who goes down easily when running at speed. It just takes a little knock to send you flying. Especially when you're one of these players who's light on their feet, by that I mean they aren't really churning their legs, it wouldn't be like a rubgy player digging in and charging past people for example. Players like Ronaldo, Bale and Young barely touch the ground when they get up to full speed.
There's no need for the flailing arms and legs, but there was contact today from Derry onto Young's chest. How about you run full pace at me Marty, uh, I mean "irishlad", and then I'll give you a gentle nudge on the way past, see if you don't stumble a bit.
