Had a good chat with my friend last night, s he was off the leash, so to speak for a few hours.

Kagawa as someone mentioned is someone we've been tracking for years. We missed out on him when he went to Dortmund as we didn't think we could get a WP for him. Regardless, this deal was always going to be on the cards, it's a question of right time & right price.

But if he comes in, there;s at least another 3 coming in with him. Allegedly.

Yes he always is. My inner transfer muppet now believe this deal will go through, with the Dortmund chief saying he wont sign a new deal and wants to go to the premier league, that pretty much rings the alarm bells its us. As Tatty said time and price, 2 years in Bundesliga isn't bad for development and his contract is ending soon. with Chelsea signing Marin and City sniffing around Hazard and likely Modric I cant see it being anyone else.

So what were the suggestions for the other 3? Sounds busier than I might have expected.

If i can recommend a player to actually watch videos of it's Kagawa, you'll see straight away why we're looking at him.

Scores goals and does well just off the striker roaming in that area, quick feet, eye for goal and creative. Plus he's clinical in front of goal. I've watched around 5/6 Dortmund games this season and he's been a standout performer every time. He made it into the Bundesliga team of the season too.

No brainer really, he'd be available for around 15 mil, where he'd normally (if his contract was longer) have gone for at least 20-25. If we miss this boat I'll be sour for a long time. Moreso than when we missed out on Ozil, Silva and Sahin.
