I'd prefer him to stay. The step-up between leagues is massive BUT I'll always have a soft spot for him and he's still capable of playing at this level. Having seen the dross served up in the main this season I'm all for a player that takes a risk now and again, tries to beat a man. If he could cut out the over-playing he'd bring pace, crossing and goals. However, considering how Van Gall has treated players that are less than 100% certain of ball retention you can easily imagine Nani having one poor game and then not seeing him again for about 3 months. Just watched the highlights of United vs Arsenal from 2008 FA Cup... What ever happened to 2008 Nani? We so need someone like that...

I'd still keep him, better as an option than none at all and at least he isn't afraid to have a shot which we seem to hesitate doing in some matches.

Nani completes move to Fenerbahce Manchester United winger Nani has completed a move to Fenerbahce.
The Portugal international spent last season with his former club Sporting Lisbon but has accepted the offer of a fresh challenge in Turkey after arriving in Istanbul over the weekend to finalise the transfer. Following his signing for the Reds in the summer of 2007, the 28-year-old made 230 appearances and scored 41 goals. He was part of the team that won the 2008 Champions League, calmly converting a key penalty during the shoot-out victory over Chelsea in Moscow, and produced some marvellous individual performances. Fenerbahce are one of the potential opponents for Louis van Gaal's men in the Champions League qualifier next month. Everybody at United would like to wish Nani every future success in his career. www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2015/Jul/manchester-united-winger-nani-seals-move-to-fenerbahce.aspx

Think getting him off the wage bill was the main priority after the idiot Moyes gave him his new deal last year.

I wish him the very best in his future career. Loved his goal just before HT in the derby at OT. Got overshadowed by Wayne's overhead.
