I was actually think the same thing that evra could be moved to the winger's role. a. it would mean that he'd still get games, Baines gets games and wingers are repeatedly shuffled leaving them fresh and not tired.

On a side note it also makes perfect logic, our wingers are very attack minded , switch off defensively from time to time ,their play and crossing into the box goes from Great one game to utter crap in another-- he would fit in nicely and we wouldn't even notice the difference.

SO fabio has joined QPR on a season long loan, guess that means we are defo going for Baines. let this get done before pre season.

you have to remember Alba was in the last year of his contract & with Barca interested we didnt stand a chance, a Left back of Baines' quality for 15million is pretty cheap considering he's 27 so we'll get 5/6 good season's out of him & attacking threat we will be gaining.

The big problem with this is that wing is arguably our strongest part of the squad, along with Centre Half. We have two of the finest wingers in Europe in Nani and Tony V and a perfectly good one in Young. Evra would only get a handful of games at left wing and rightly so. He's a full back. And his crossing has become average in recent years. And bar Bale, can any one remember a full back that was moved to the wing effectively late in his career?

I agree Stewart that Wing is our strongest and we emphasis our play a lot on that , but i had the same though as WK when Baines rumor started getting strong and entertained it, plus while we have the finest , you got to agree that Nani does switch off from time to time and hence my last comment.

What's not to understand about players possibly not wanting to go to Everton?

As regards Park, he'll be assisting Kagawa to bed in at the club as he's a fellow Asian player. Tatty alluded to it weeks ago.

hmm, i think Asia is a tad more diverse than some people think, they're from entirely different cultures and countries. For what it's worth i agree Park will stay, but not at all because he's here to bed in Kagawa.

If we got him for around £5mill it could be a decent signing though i'd be looking for someone younger that could take over long term. Some of the figures banded about in the rumours are plain ridiculous.

That guy sure looks pretty amazing in attack but there aren't any shots of him defending in that clip. Also noticed from the comments that he suffered some serious injury in 2010 and hasn't played much since?

Can't be arsed to go back and find the post but that's exactly what I said way back when the comment was first made.
