Got a tat on my arm. Now hate it. Had 6 or 7 treatments to get rid. Looks exactly the same.

I used to be completely against the idea (pretty sure my mother brain-washed me as a child against tattoos) but for while now I really fancy getting one on my back or chest. Well, I have ideas for two, but the first one is easy as it's just a quote. Second is just an idea which would need a proper design. Things putting me off are cost, and the fear of it stretching. I'd like to get one on either pectoral and one on either shoulderblade, but I'm constantly at the weights these days and if it goes as well as it has been my chest/back is only going to get broader. Any of you inked lads have/had problems with a tattoo stretching? Is it even a legit concern or am I over-thinking it? chris - That really sucks man, sorry to read it!

Well, my arms are fucking massive ( ) and it hasn't stretched at all. Had mine about 11 years and its the same (sadly)

Haha!
That's bleak man, that's the reason I went for the ribs, out of sight generally unless I'm swimming.
Might do my shoulder blade in future, but the ribs were borderline unbearable at times :/
I've heard other spots aren't as bad, though.

The inside of your bicep is a bit tasty. My tattooist left it till the end but she did forewarn me!

I'm thinking if I had significant growth there could be stretching. Basically, I've seen what a stretched tattoo looks like on a bird who has been pregnant and while I'll never have sized-down humans in my pectoral muscles, it was a pretty harrowing experience.

Since my last post I've had 5 more tatts! lol
I've got two skutters from Red Dwarf on my right outside forearm, another MJ one on my left arm, an Orianthi one near my elbow (again on my forearm!) and my most recent one is a Tupac tribute tatt on my left shin. Pics later.

Bit late but I'm sure they only stretch if there is no gap in it. Say if it's a full circle around the bicep. If there is a gap in it it won't stretch just from normal weight gain/loss. End up going through with it?
