Come on now Peeps. Its starting. I'm not in England, what are the vibez over there?
what are you favorite events and who do you think will win them?
i will start off. My favorite events are the short sprints, ie. 100m, 200m & 400m (original, i know) I'm in Jam-down, thus i am unrepentant in my bias. Bolt for the 100 & 200m Male, and Shelly-Ann Frazer-Pryce and Veronica Campbell-Brown for the female 100 & 200 respectively.
i know many expect Bolt to sweep all before him, but honestly, do NOT underestimate Yohanne Blake. he, of all contenders in the 100M field, can take Bolt to the wire. in the 200M, Bolt has no equal when fit. The Ladies event will be much more competitive though, as the USA has a very strong female sprint team.

At this stage, I'm sorry to say I could not be more underwhelmed if I tried.

Personally i think itll be one of the worst openning ceremonies going.
Sydney, Beijing, Athens, - all know how to make a mark on the event. London will just turn up with a double decker bus with that gimp boris with his justin beiber haircut. Should be entertaining.

I have a suspicion the opening ceremony will be naff. But feedback from the dress rehearsal was positive, so maybe I'll be surprised. I hope it is good. I really want this to be a great Olympics. Living down here in London, it's great to see the changes that the Olympics have had.
I'm not the most enthusiastic athletics follower, but I do hope we see golds for Jessica Ennis and Usain Bolt.

I think the opening ceremony has been excellent so far. With this country, I expected it to be a total disaster since we have a tendency to fuck everything up, but its really good.
I think it will get better as well.

Apart from Mr Bean I think its been awful. Its all videos and shit, when you compare it to Sydney and Beijing it doesnt come close. The problem I think with it is there's too much going on plus its just generally very shite. Negative I know but I dont care
