Yeh Rodwell is injury prone, good player but after the season we had with injuries we need consistency within the team free from injuries.
Don't rate Fellaini at all. Tiote however, now he'd add some bite

Is this dream scenario or realistic? Because Schweinstiger is about as realistic as us getting Xavi. MArtinez is the best one that is available from the list but I have to say Demebele was very, very good against England yesterday. I hadn't seen a lot of Fulham in recent years but he was head and shoulders above any midfeilder last night. More than lived with Gerrard (who was laughably named MoM) I know he was dismissed on here ( i actually had no comment about him as i had nothing to go on) but he seemed liked a good passer, strong, mobile and tough. Is he the answer? No idea. But I certainly wouldn't mind us looking at him strongly. I just stuck everyone in we've been linked with recently, on Dembele I think he plays similar to the Kagawa role, so probably isn't what we're looking for in this area. He's used in a similar formation for Fulham as the one I suggested at the start, just off the striker. I think Dembele is decent too, the thought of player who can pass and move interests me whoever they are!

Thought Dembele was very impressive vs. England. Was probably their brightest spark (cue Hazard mentions). I think he could potentially flourish at a top side and would be relatively cheap (£10-15m) but personally, I'd rather have Kagawa.

I think Fellaini is underrated, he's a good midfielder, though I don't think I want to look at him as a prospective United signing yet. On the flipside, sign Tiote up Fergie !!!

I voted for Tiote, assuming Kagawa is signed, if that were to fall through and we were to sign only one I would go for Modric.

Yeah, Fellaini is only 24. He seems older.

I voted Schweinsteiger but he is an unrealistic target...not seen much of Tiote but will go with those who say he is good. Fellaini impressed me when he played against us at OT last season...at only 24 could improve a lot....it would be great to get a Toure-type player but they are rare...

I've seen some talk that Schweinstieger hasn't really hit the levels of performances that caught the eye at the WC. A good player yes, but maybe not the godlike midfielder he gave the impression of being. He hasnt really been that impressive in the few glimpses I've had of Bayern either. What do the people who watch a bit more Bundesliga think? Not that it really matters anyway, hes always seemed highly unrealistic.
Not a massive fan of Fellaini, he gets stuck in but gives away a hell of a lot of fouls and his passing stats aren't that good. Evertons about his level I think.

I think if Bayern had won the CL then maybe the Bastian deal would be more realistic, he said when he signed his contract that's what he wanted to win so maybe he would have fancied a change.
Not sure we'll be seeing much movement while Fergie is on holiday so we've got a while to stew over any transfers, hate the summer, especially this bit between the season and euros!

I've gone for Luka he's a perfect replacement for Scholes.

Don't rate Fellaini at all. Same here. Fellaini for me is ordinary. If we brought him into our midfield area, he'd be our midfield equivalent of Berba (i.e slowing everything down). We could forget about quick, fluent passing in there from him and Fellaini also strikes me as being lazy. Who'd suit us in there? Modric.

Good point on Fellaini, all though I imagine he'd just feed Carrick most of the time for him to to what he likes with it. Modric seems to be popular, how much would everyone pay for him?

Yeah, i mean on Fellaini, i fail to see what the fuss is about.
He's a ponderous type of midfielder, slows everything down dramatically, and the guy does seem lazy in the middle of the park. Doesn't suit us, in my view.
