Rumor or truth, it sure as hell has all my non-United mates soiling themselves with fear. Fear about Lewandowski, RVP, Rooney, Kagawa playing on the same pitch. Fear that we concluded this deal so quickly and that too for one of the most sought after strikers in Europe.
Fear. That's what I want every rentie/dipper/bitter scumbag to feel when they talk about us.

So not in January then, in case anyone had been convinced: soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1250321/borussia-dortmund-rule-out-manchester-united's-lewandowski-bid?cc=3888 Manchester United's hopes of signing Robert Lewandowski in the January transfer window have been halted, with Borussia Dortmund confirming the striker will remain in the Bundesliga. Lewandowski, 24, has been linked with a move to the Premier League and United would be favourites for his signature after reportedly expressing interest recently. Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp insists the Poland international has not yet requested an exit from Germany, although a deal next summer could still be an option. "I'm not afraid he will leave," Klopp said. "Manchester United are one of many teams showing interest in him. But the fact remains the contract is with us. "The time when big, rich English clubs tried to take our players from Germany, thank God, is over. In the second half of the season he'll be with us." Klopp believes the Bundesliga is now more appealing than the Premier League, despite United luring Shinji Kagawa away from Dortmund in the summer. The German champions host Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night and, despite having guaranteed their place in the knockout stages, Klopp will send out a strong line-up to secure top spot in Group D. "This is a Champions League game. When a team is through there is sometimes a temptation to rest players but that is not for us," he said. "We are going to play with a good team. It will be a high-tempo game and we have got to try to put a fresh team on the pitch, but obviously there will be changes. "The match at City [on matchday 2] was surely one of the best ever for a Borussia Dortmund team. We were extremely quick, ran extremely well and were tactically very strong. "Normally you win such a game, but that was not the case then. As it turned out, it didn't do us much harm. I can't really say how [Tuesday's] game will develop because I have no idea how the [City] team will line up. "The squad has huge quality, no matter who is playing, but I also know that the big Manchester derby is coming up this weekend. We will see where their priorities lie. You can't always play like we did in Manchester, but, of course, we should try."

It would make no sense for Lewy to come in Jan. He isn't eligible to play the Champions League if he comes in Jan. I think whatever truth these rumors have, will be revealed after this season.

Spot on Red, though Klopp doesn't seem oblivious to the fact that he'll likely leave. This simply rules out January.

Was never a Jan Signing , if in case there is a Signing. Won;t be eligible for CL and Klopp and Dortmund would have to be sniffing on some new strong substance to sell one of their top players in Jan having qualified for the knockouts and as far as fearing the front 3-4 , they will just have to look at our back and feel pretty much comfy ATM.

I have always proffered Rooney playing in the hole, he plays his best stuff there as it allows him to be more involved and playing him behind VP and Lewa would be frightening. It looks more and more likely that the diamond is here to stay, or at least a variation of.So that means tara to Nani, Young and possibly Valencia, though TV may be accommodated at RWB(our very own Roberto Carlos).Tony is not a right back and never will be and I see no reason as to why we would sell one of our only world class players? Signing Lewandowski makes no sense whatsoever. It is not possible to fit he, RvP, Wazza, Tony and Kagawa on the pitch at the same time and they are all starting eleven players.

I agree that he is not a right back, neither was Roberto Carlos a FB but its the only plausible place to put him if we are to go 433, he could be made into a RB but we couldnt turn him into a floating forward as his game isnt versatile enough. I cant agree that TV, as much as I like the guy, is World Class. He is not and never will be.He has no left foot whatsoever, his crossing is best described as hopeful and he doesnt have a single trick in his locker.Dont get me wrong, he is effective, even devastating on his day and it works with the horrid "tactics" we employ but he is way off WC.

The only guaranteed spots in the side at the moment should be Rafael's, Valencia's (when hes fit) Rooney, RVP and Evans. These players are playing lovely football so should be the first names on that team sheet.
I would add Ando and Cleverley as well but until we get a set formation Ill leave them as the fringe selection as those two should be our starting pair in the centre.

Nobody should have a guaranteed spot and Valencia is actually in pretty poor form.
