Sunday Times saying Spurs are out of the race for him. They won't pay the 25 million (sterling) It's great being linked with the brazillian lad but I think Moutinho is more what we need.

Yup, a couple of other tabloids reporting the same.

Levy is hilarious. Screws every club royally when they sign a Spurs player and when a club tries to do the same to him he pisses off!

Sunday Times saying Spurs are out of the race for him. They won't pay the 25 million (sterling) It's great being linked with the brazillian lad but I think Moutinho is more what we need. Torn between what we do and don't need at the moment. Suppose all in all the changes from last season in the middle are Fletcher and Pogba out and Powell in. Don't think its fair or reallistic to count Powell in the numbers though. Meaning we've lost one of our strongest. Whilst Scholes has signed a new contract it'd be a risk not buying another. Leaves us with Giggs, Scholes, Carrick, Cleverley, Anderson and Jones to cover. I can potentially see Fergie going with that. Having said that we have 3 wingers now, and one left back, we need them more, dont we?

If bad comes to worst , Fergie would deem Kagawa has a double signing sort of has he can play wing and Middle , but like i mentioned in Anderson thread , with many wanting Anderson to be sold , we would become extremely thin in Middle and we still wouldn't have got the much needed Muscle or ball winner add to that Fletcher's loss our season will be more like Brother's Grimm story from the start itself.
I'd say that of the 1-2 signings that SAF said , i reckon Baines is a given and other would be a Mid of the 4 we have been linked/dealing with. Chances are that SAF may go for a Solid Mid or a Flair winger depending on whom we loose out. But 2 are defo on this summer , 1 may drag longer IMO.

I hope Tunnicliffe gets a chance pre-season. And I pray to those on high that he can take it!

Do you think it would earn him any more than a Premier League loan though?
Even with Welbeck, he barely had a pop until he'd galavanted with Sunderland

Pinning our hopes on somebody who hasn't even played Premier League football is a bit desperate.

I hope he can be involved in the first team this season. I'm not advocating starting the lad in the Bernabeau in the Champions League knock out stages!

I said United should scoop Moutinho up this summer months ago! The guy is a cracking player and has the vision we need place, plus he has bit a pace and grit about him. His attitude cant be any worse than that cunt Tevez....

Claims in Russia that Moutinho could be off to Zenit or Manchester United for 25m Euros.

All gone very quiet on him, with Spurs signing Dembele and trying to get Remy and Lloris I cant see him going there. Not sur eit would be our style to drag this out to deadline day but we can dream.

Yeah it's probably nothing, can't see Spurs going in for him, reckon they'll make a late move for Dempsey myself.
