Rumour is Porto sold Moutinho for £1mill, coz Lisbon get 25% of any future fee, so they've mugged them off for fuck all. Making Rodriguez the second most expensive player ever.

I'm not sure i believe the 1-69m thing, seems way to fraud baiting to me. Soemthing like 25-45 maybe, but still dodgey.

Yeah if they did just pay 1 million then its court all the way however a case can be put forward if they said that they sold him for 15 million whilst the rest went on Rodriguez

How though? He was their player, they can sell him for what they like. If they wanted to give him away they could.
Sporting could say that they only sold him cheap to screw them over, but then Porto could counter with a "well you should have negotiated a better clause when you sold him to us".
Like giving away something then complaining when the person you gave it to sells it for millions.
Similar principle as to why young players command extortionate fees - the selling clubs are getting their part of the deal in before the player eventually goes on to big things.
Cuntish thing to do? Extremely. Illegal? I'd be very surprised.

Could be sale of an asset at under-value. If it is proven that it was done to avoid paying a big 25% fee to Sporting.
