I have to say I'm with Jim here.

The extent to which you guys have disagreed on matters such as Wilshere's ability, Clevers, Giggs, Ronaldo vs Messi etc perhaps accentuated something that was really nothing at all. Leave it be, it's a forum after all and he's not personally attacked anyone, hence it should remain his opinion.

Carbs, love your posts and always looking out for what you're posting but perhaps you're a bit quick on the safety with regards to bans these days?

Just saying, as it creates a very eerie atmosphere when regular/senior posters are on the verge of bans at times. God knows, after what happened to Red and SET, I'm not sure I can handle jim out of here too. It'll have been a hard year for RoM.

I made a reply saying he was trolling about a certain section of a post and even had evidence to back it up then regardless that is ignored and abuse (albeit small) is thrown.

Wish I could agree with you jay, but it seems that jim takes every opportunity to have a thinly/nakedly covered dig at Ronaldo lately or trying to pontificate about how Messi is the greatest thing ever. Or, before yesterday, Cleverley being "hugely over-rated". Or generally any opinion I/Carbon/others hold strongly, he likes to post how much he either disagrees with or that it is straight wrong.

Red and SET both left for different reasons, not bans.

jim, I merely suggested that lauding Messi unreservedly was also a convenient platform for you to back-handedly bitch about Cristiano Ronaldo.

He's referring to me Carbon. I've said jim likes to throw in his opinion on Cleverley being hugely over-rated and Wilshere being by far the superior player in any arena he can.

I wish I'd stayed well out of this now. Did not heed my own, earlier advice!

Messi and Ronaldo are both unbelievably good.

There is a noticable gulf in class between them but that's a testament to Messi's unbelievable talent more than a knock on Ronaldo. At any other time Ronaldo would be the greatest.

The only reason people say anything negative about Ronaldo is because some fools actually have the nerve to say he's better.

I love Ronaldo though.

actually if you read it properly i didn't say that he never does anything wrong. i said that compared to most players in that league he's a saint.

you can throw youtube clips at me. but i can show you a youtube clip of phil neville diving. doesn't mean shit. ive watched him and barca countless times over half a decade and he's always behaved himself and has a great attitude.

this is a united forum. cleverleys name comes up for discussion frequently, surprisingly enough. i've said enough times i'd love to be proved wrong about him.

i backed down and apologised to carbo a few days ago in the sneijder thread. he sounded quite hacked off and said i'd really annoyed him. so i apologised, and meant it.
