Messi is the best, I think even ronaldo would admit he's the better player. Ronaldo would be the best quite easily if messi wasn't about. I don't get this negativity around messi by some united supporters. Yes the press never stop talking about him but thats because he's bloody brillant. He's the best player i've saw carrying the ball. I've seen better passers and playmakers than messi but I haven't seen a more talented player one on one with defenders than messi. Theres not enough players in the game now who can take one 2 or 3 defenders and score wonderful goals most weeks. This is what made the likes of best, cruyft and maradona the best.

Messi is also the best finisher I've ever seen. He just finds the corner every time even when he's outside the box shooting through a crowd of players. It sounds a stupid thing to say about a player who's scored 88 goals in a calendar year but his finishing isn't talked about enough.
