 On a serious note though I don't actually wish this to happen lol. Just been watching it and fair play its terrible, 20 kids aged 5-10 and 8 adults just leaves a lump in the throat. Nothing against the country but Im glad we don't have laws like that. Saw a picture of one of the parents crying on the phone and I felt so bad for her, No parents should have to go through that. The thing that pisses me off is this vile piece of shit that's done this will probably be declared medically unstable and live off the state instead of getting what he deserves, the death penalty. Although for someone like this the death penalty is the easy way out, he should be made to suffer. Chuck him in a room and starve him out.He's dead pal, coward shot himself in the school!! I saw that on the news, fuck knows why I thought that lol. Shame because he's got the best deal out of it all by not having to suffer unlike the poor families that have go to go through the ordeal. Makes you think what the fuck is wrong with people in this world. How fucked up do you have to be to bring yourself to do something like that. Society is truly fucked up if it produces scum like that. |

Saw this earlier.  "Have you ever wondered what a hero looks like? Well heres one, Vicki Soto age 27 a teacher at Sandy Hook Elementery. When the shooting started she hid her 1st graders in closets and cabinets. When the shooter came to her room there was no place for her to hide, she told him that her kids were in the gym. She was killed but none of her kids were injured. We salute you Ms. Soto, as there is a special place in hell for the monster who did this there is a special place in heaven for you"Such a young, beautiful girls life ended because of one vile bastard. |

Its a stupid country, lets be honest about it. This happens time and time again and yet again that stupid government and there dickless politicans have failed to protect there kids. When this happened in this country, private hand guns were banned. You can walk into a shop in the state, as long as you don't have a criminal record, you can walk out of that shop with any gun you like. Its ridiculous. I'm all for changing the relevant laws on gun control. For me, you can't state that the U.S. is a 'stupid country' if nutters choose to go and shoot people dead due to the particular law stating that you have the right to bear arms. You have to tighten up regulation. Terrible things happen in every country world-wide, doesn't mean the countries are stupid. The law may be an ass in certain cases. You cannot legislate for the actions of nutters (relating to the actions of deranged people). |

I read this. What a hero she is. The parents of those kids still alive thanks to her will never forget this lady. The planet needs more of these people. I dunno , I agree with john that it is a stupid country. 11000 deaths due to gun violence and they still haven't realised that it is easier to ban guns rather than figuring out who's the next nutjob to gun down a shopping mall? It's a stupid country that has failed to amend a law which is archaic at this point in time. Its a stupid country for thinking that the rest of the world are idiots for banning guns in their country. Its a stupid country that cannot see the direct statistical relationship between banning guns and fewer gun violence victims. If it was just about the politics its fine. But the number of fucking morons coming out and saying its not because of the gun, its because of the man, makes it a stupid country. If his mother didn't have a mini-arsenal in her garage, her deranged child wouldn't have any fucking weapons to choose from to carry out this disaster. Its a stupid country. |

The NRA would never allow any changes anyhow.
From what i understand they are like a superpower on their own, any mention of change and they come after you.
That poor teacher knowing she had nowhere to hide just breaks your heart i just can't imagine that.

I cannot see that there will be a great deal of change as a result of this. There simply isn't the appetite for the kind of change that would make any real difference.
You have a large population of people that if they aren't slavishly devoted to the bible they are at least slavishly devoted to every word of the constitution.
Going on a shooting rampage appears to be now fixed as an accepted outlet for societal losers in the US, especially young men that feel they aren't getting enough attention from their peers.
As an outsider looking in on an American problem my only surprise is that it doesn't happen more often.

Thats the sad part about any of these tragedies, they get too much attention. I hope this girl is remembered forever, Not many people would do such a selfless act. |
